Orama Lodge Bora Bora - Le Studio

10/10 Excellent

"Where do I even begin. Our stay at Orama Lodge Bora Bora has been an absolute dream. From the moment that my daughter (4 yo) and I arrived, both Regina and Alain went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Alain greeted us at the dock on arrival from the airport, and waited for me to retrieve my rental car so that he could escort us to the lodge. The property is warm, cozy, clean, and impressive considering the fact that Alain built it himself! Alain and Regina live in the home at the end of the driveway and were always available if I needed something or had a question. Regina checked on us daily to ensure that all was well, and often came bearing gifts, whether it be fruit, or toys to keep my little one occupied on the rainy days. In all of my travels, I’ve never met hosts more kind and welcoming. With regard to location, I would highly recommend a rental car since the lodge is “remote” from tourist hubs like Matira Beach and Vaitape. I put remote in quotations because the island is so small that you can get from point A to any given point B in 25 mins or less by car lol. Amazing. 10/10 recommend. We can’t wait to come back!"

"Les bungalows sur pilotis sont magiques. L’eau est trop belle. Voir les petits poissons et raies qui passent en dessous de la table du salon vitrée, c’est magnifique. Très tranquille. Beaucoup d’activités proposées. Kayaks, paddle board, masque et tuba offert gratuitement a l’hôtel. Je recommande prendre le buffet déjeuner inclus. Les tahitiens sont vraiment très gentils et accueillants."

"Alain and Regina were amazing hosts! They greeted us warmly with leis and invited us to their patio for welcome drinks and fruit. They could not have been more welcoming. We did not have a rental car booked when we arrived and we quickly realized we needed one to get around the island. Regina offered us the use of her car until we were able to get one of our own, which was so incredibly generous! Luckily, we were able to get our own rental car that same morning that we arrived. The property was very nice and kept behind a gate. There were three very sweet dogs who we enjoyed seeing and petting. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and everything was nice and clean. There was a small kitchen that we used to prepare some food that we got at the grocery store. We were sad to leave, but Alain saw us off with seashell necklaces and well wishes. We had a fantastic time on Bora Bora thanks to Regina and Alain and we look forward to returning! Thanks for everything 😊"

"Our hosts were welcoming. We were met at the fair Landing taken to the property and provided a walk-through and keys to the car and house. We were shown how to use the appliances and instructed what the preferences were for when we departed.We were given some suggestions on places to eat and the hours of different establishments, which was greatly appreciated. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer."
