"This resort is great! We come to Door County ever year and we’ve been here several years ago when the kids were young and it was fantastic but it’s usually booked as I wait to look. But this year we managed to get in and it’s as great as it ever was. They have so many amenities and they are all so clean and well thought out. We love the indoor pool. I’m a big baby when it comes to cold pools and this one is seriously amazing. I can actually go in and stay in. The hot tub is huge and feels great as we usually do a race while in DC. It’s a slight bit hot maybe but better than not enough. We didn’t use the outdoor pool as it was too chilly out but they have fire pits and chairs and light and just looks really inviting. You can rent bikes, there’s a playland area for the little ones and they have a little shop by reception if you forgot anything. The rooms are great and have everything you need. There is a full kitchen and a warm fireplace. The balcony/porch is nice for an early morning coffee. The grocery store is minutes away. I almost don’t want to give this gemstone away. We are so glad we got in to Newport. Definitely will return if we can."

"This property has spectacular sunsets and is secluded for your privacy. Located in a central spot for 20 minute drives to almost any little town you may want to visit in Door County. I do not believe anyone would be disappointed by booking and staying here. Thank you Jennifer for the prompt communication and ease to rent. Very nice!"

Four bedroom charming historical Harbor Haus in central Egg Harbor

"The location surprised me. The pictures look like it is in the woods, but it is actually on the main road through town so we could walk everywhere. The convenience was amazing. All four bedrooms are upstairs along with a bathroom, so you really are sharing one bathroom which can get a bit cozy. The second bathroom is downstairs off the hallway and across from the kitchen. It is a half bath with a door, and then a shower stall has been added to a space beside it in the hallway under the stairs. You need to shut the hallway door and kitchen door so no one sees you in the shower. Each bedroom was large and had dressers and a closet for clothes so that was nice. Plugs are limited, so we did bring extension cords and that helped. The kitchen is small with very little counter space, so I think it would be hard to prep a large meal, but it does have dishwasher, stove/oven, and 2 fridges. The older microwave and coffee maker are on a side table. Since there is no way I’m cooking with all of the food options nearby, this really didn’t matter. The dining room has a large table with seating for at least 8. This is a beautiful old house with wooden floors and furnished with antiques that add character and charm. If you need a modern house with modern bathrooms then look elsewhere. However, we enjoyed it and will be back again."

"This was a lovely property and very clean. The only thing to be improved on was that there were no window coverings on front door and patio door. As older women staying alone we felt that would have provided more privacy/security. The shower heads were so tall that we could not reach them to activate the handheld nozzle. Also, a grab bar at the step at the door into the house from the garage would have been helpful. It was a great place to stay and in the perfect location to Fish Creek."
