Waterfront Star Lake Cabin, Boat Dock On-Site

"Rob was great. Easy to text with before and during the stay. View of the lake was the best view we’ve ever had in many years staying up north. Kitchen had everything you could need. Beds were comfortable and a lake view in so many rooms. We loved hanging out in the 3 seasons room. Outdoor deck above the boathouse garage was perfect for lunch and relaxing. The lake offers so many cool bays and islands for exploring. Biggest downfall is that they don’t hold your spot for the next year like almost every other Northwoods place giving you first dibs upon checkout. Learned that the hard way when we wanted to rebook."

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been staying in Boulder Junction for 40 years. The last two years we lodged at Harlequin Haven. The modified barn has three comfortable bedrooms and two large living areas - one on each level. There is air conditioning, a hot tub, washer/dryer, dishwasher, plenty of parking, WiFi, cable TV, and private location away from other cabins. We did pay a user fee to access the neighboring White Birch Village Resort - this allowed us to used the beach, play area, and docks. We spent most of our time on our deck boat. But we also did some mountain biking, golfing and dining. There are several classic dining areas nearby. I would highly recommend Marty's, The Guides Inn, Aqualand, and Gucci's. Most require a reservation, especially during peak summer season. There are two great golf courses a short drive away - St. Germaine Gold Course, and Trout Lake Golf Course. Both courses are challenging and have many very scenic holes. We happened to see many deer and a fox on our latest outing. Overall, The Harlequin Haven provides a very comfortable Northwoods lodging."

"This is a lovely property with four comfortable bedrooms, three nice baths, and beautiful gathering spaces. We loved the picture windows overlooking the woods and the lake. We walked into town multiple times but marveled at how secluded and quiet the property felt. The kitchen is well stocked, especially with spices! Jacque was always quick to answer questions. It worked well for my 90-year-old mom, my 5-month-old granddaughter and everyone in between."

"A very comfortable, clean, and cozy cabin on the lake. Sunset views were spectacular. Couldn’t see the dock from the cabin, but it’s a short walk away and it was great to have a place to put a boat for the weekend. Overall, very happy with our stay.Thank you."
