"The staff were great and friendly, food was really good, especially the breakfast. The bedroom was really comfortable and the bed, pillows etc excellent.
Stair carpets are tired and stained which gives a negative impression, could be rectified at not too much cost.
Loved the atmosphere, would stay again"

"We stayed in the inn itself, where the room’s decor is a little mad but we enjoyed it. The room was a little tired (chipped paint, absent towel rail) but everything functioned. Good pub grub and a “fun bus” outside to keep the kids entertained (a whole evening of fun for them), and great location for Stonehenge."

"I stayed here to attend a wedding nearby. The staff helped me locate the property (wedding goers had parked in front of the sign and hidden it). I had booked a single room and it was ideal for one person. Shower room spacious and worked well."

"We had three nights here and were pleasantly surprised, The staff were excellent and the restaurant had a relaxed and professional ambiance. Rooms were a little small but the bed was extremely comfortable. Plenty of parking. Good breakfast.
Only criticism was that there was no telephone in the bedroom and we were told that guests should use their own mobile phone if they needed anything. Perhaps the hotel should note that not everyone uses a mobile phone and even if they do, there is no guarantee that the signal would be strong enough to make a call. If the guest has an emergency in the middle of the night is the hotel expecting the guest to find their phone and the appropriate external number to call for assistance! Bearing in mind recent issues at a certain hotel group, I would have considered this to be a basic safety requirement. So anyone thinking of booking here should ensure they have a mobile, fully charged, switched on and the number of the hotel saved in their contacts.
Apart from this we enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend it to others."
"A great spot to explore the regions around London from. The rail system is 5 minutes away, the staff are great, the common spaces are comfortable, and the room was clean and comfortable."
"Easy check in friendly and helpful staff.
Clean comfortable well equipped room, tea coffee, iron and board and free WiFi.
Good self service breakfast included .
No complaints. Free parking would have been nice but £7 a night not too bad."
"Staff were super friendly. There’s a £30 surcharge for a dog but for that he got a super comfy bed and bowl which made his stay a real treat. Didn’t get a chance to use pool but did walk around the very pleasant grounds. When we arrived we were concerned that with two events going on we might not get much sleep however the soundproofing was excellent, didn’t disturb us at all. Room in the Mansion House was clean and well appointed with a lovely super king bed. Breakfast good and plentiful parking although I’m guessing there may have been issues with width of spaces in the past as we saw many cars straddling two spaces :) Didn’t cause us any issues though. We’d love to head back!"
"Beautiful hotel, lovely spa, open changing rooms only down side. The mattress was way too soft for us but that’s personal preference I guess. Breakfast was lovely and very much worth the £12 charge"
