Private, sun-drenched holiday home located in the laid-back fabulous Whangapoua. Enjoy award-winning architectural design only 3-5 minutes walk from the pristine white sands of Whangapoua beach. The open plan lounge and kitchen offer a large oven for entertaining, while the alfresco outdoor dining area calls out for long evenings with friends and family with bbq, an outdoor fireplace and overhead opening and closing louvres. Low lights in the garden setting create a beautiful ambience at night.

Fibre internet makes personal device use a breeze.

Matarangi Links Golf Course is only 15 mins away and the quieter low-key Coromandel Golf Course is also 20 mins in the opposite direction.

Whangapoua has so much to offer. The Whangapoua Harbour provides safe swimming and a rope swing for kids. You can launch your boat at the boat ramp and enjoy fishing and watersports. The local store is well stocked and sells petrol, LPG and dive bottle refills, free-range meat and eggs, groceries, home baking (try their famous homemade pies!), toys, games, wine and beer. There is a local playground and a lagoon at the end of the beach that is perfect for littlies. But perhaps the biggest drawcard is the famous New Chums Beach, rated as one of the world's Top 10 beaches. To reach New Chums you walk on a nikau-palm-lined track for approximately 25 minutes from the end of Whangapoua Beach.

Special conditions:
Due to a lack of local laundromat facilities, we are unable to provide linen. You will need to bring your own linen towels, bathmats, hand towels, sheets and pillowslips. All duvets, pillows and blankets are provided.

You will need to provide your own firewood for the outside fireplace.

Smart TV requires guests' own logins for streaming services.

Smoking allowed outside only.

NO PARTIES. If there is excessive noise after 10pm you will forfeit your bond and be asked to leave.

Whangapoua Bach Review
This is a lovely place, however we didn't realize we needed to bring our own firewood as we didn't see that it was required for the fireplace anywhere on the booking. Apart from that, it was a wonderful little place, neighbors and owners seem nice and it would've been great if we didn't have so much on our plate so we could have stayed longer. :-)

A gem in Whangapoua!
The house is nicely laid out, outdoor living is such a plus! The kids enjoyed as they have plenty of space to roam around. Facilities were complete to cater home cooking and barbecue! Whangapoua is our go-to peaceful getaway, the beach is just few minutes away and New Chums has always been a treasure for morning trek + swim! Stayed in a few rentals before and Beth’s bach is our current family favourite! Will definitely come back! Seamless experience!

Wonderful beach location. Not much for dining offerings. Have to drive one or two towns over for breakfast and dinner. The unit was probably awesome in it’s time but is dated and was not that clean. Owner was very accommodating when we forgot about bringing bedding and linens. Appreciate that.

Great stay!
This is our 4th time here and it’s one of our favourite holidays. This bach is perfect for 2 families. It’s a quick walk to the most spectacular beach and is well equipped for days of swimming, eating and relaxing. Thanks for having us again, we’ll be back!!

Lovely home in a great location
What a beautiful home, with all the amenities you might need, and in a great location. Being early in the season it was extremely quiet in the area and we had the beach to ourselves most of the time! It's not fully fenced so bring a long lead for your dog as the residents (holiday home owners?) of the home next door do have a dog as well. My son loved the trampoline. Outdoor area has powered louvre shade ceiling which was excellent for the hot days. Would definitely stay again.
