This modern recently renovated home in the heart of the Whanganui CBD is just the place to make your stay in the River-city one to remember.

The grounds have lots of room for eating outside and relaxing. There is even room for a tent, so renters can have more people stay than beds available. This is the best deal, because there is not extra charge per-person, just one flat rate for 4+ people to a max of 10.

We have updated the whole property with two full bathrooms (showers) and 3 bedrooms (1 Queen, 2 King Singles & 1 Single). Open plan living with large modern kitchen. Gas infinity hot water, and top quality kitchen appliances. DVS in operation year round.

There is off street parking for up to 3 cars as garages are not available for use. Property is totally fenced.

We would love to have you come and stay, making our home your home for the duration of your visit to our City.


We have a MINIMUM 2 NIGHT stay.

Please be aware that email communication with the property owner is during business hours Mon-Fri; hence, there may be a delay of a day or two before you receive communication from us – thank you for your patience . If your booking and arrival are only a few days apart please call us on the number provided so we can make sure the house is ready for you.

Because this is a family home that we want to keep it in the best possible condition for the next guests: therefore, we require a CLEANING fee of $80. This is not negotiable as we have professional cleaners come in after each lot of guests.

NB: WiFi is not available on the property other than accessing your phones mobile data.

Special conditions:
NO pets.

Bring your own linen for the beds, towels and tea-towels. Duvet-inners (outers not included), blankets and pillows are provided.

Please do remember to take your rubbish and empties with you - rubbish bags are provided.

Lovely property close to town
Couldn't ask for a better location if you want to be close to Whanganui town centre. You can walk absolutely everywhere. Property is spacious and well kept, with all the little things you'll need around the kitchen. Plenty of room outside as well for kids to run around and play.

This is a fantastic location, safe and secure site. There is no place for feedback. Feedback - you need an clothes horse for drying laundry. it was raining this weekend and we didnt have anywhere to hang clothes to dry. - the clock had stopped, so replace clock battery. - the lazy boy chairs were not comfortable or relaxing. A sofa would be good to sit on as well. - the double bed mattress needs replacing because my husband and I kept rolling into the middle, so sleeping was uncomfortable. It was a fabulous location in central area. thanks again for the stay.

Amazing property for young kids and bigger groups
We stayed here with 5 adults and two pre-schoolers. Even though it is only a 3 bedroom house, the large living area and kitchen (much bigger than they look in the photos), plus the two full bathrooms meant it easily accommodated us all. The flat rate regardless of numbers was also great as some of our group changed their accommodation plans last minute and we could fit them in with us. The flat, secure outdoor lawn and concrete area were awesome for the kids to play on and it was so good to have the use of a washing machine and washing line. The location is ideal, literally a two minute walk from town. I would definitely recommend staying here with kids and/or bigger groups. The place was really clean and completely clutter free; nothing we needed to worry about kids breaking!
