This really was an exceptional experience. The room was quiet but with a beautiful private space to relax in the sunshine, soak in the hot tub, and relax in the room. We also took advantage of the nearby estuary and beach which were both beautiful. The owner was friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. He showed us the room, explained the amenities, and gave very good advice for eating and activities. Based on his advice, we modified our travel plans to visit and hike at a beautiful gorge prior to flying out of Auckland in the evening. What a nice way to end our trip to New Zealand!
