Your March '26 Cozy Luxe Ski Retreat

Welcome to Honeypot Farmhouse—Your family's year-round Vermont retreat. We're located under 10 miles from Okemo & Magic, 14 miles from Bromley, and less than 35 miles from Stratton, Mt Snow and Killington. We just renovated our 1850s home to be a balance of modern (high-speed wifi and 18,000-game standup arcade machine) and cozy (original fire place & wide-plank floors); where we—and you—will never want to leave.

Come for a fun-filled family getaway weekend in nature. End your day curled up by the fire in our cozy Great Room or over a glass of wine in our open-concept kitchen. Visit many local shops, farms, breweries, and hiking trails for an authentic Vermont experience.

We're here for you as much or as little as you want us to be. Need recommendations for the best easy hikes with kids? We've got you covered. A brewery for the parents while the kids enjoy wood-fired pizza? We'll show you where to go. Cliff-jumping into cool waters or creepy cave exploration; just ask! Simply want to be left to a peaceful weekend alone? We'll stay out of your hair.

Our home sits on 3 acres of land nestled in the valley between some of the state's most well-known mountains. The area is perfect for ski trips, forest hikes, mountain bikes, and watering hole swims. Walk to the famous Vermont Country Store and take a short drive to the Manchester outlet stores, Equinox, and Hildene.

We designed our home to give you the comforts of modern living with the coziness of an old New England country house. The fully-renovated first floor includes a brand new kitchen, bathroom with a laundry room, and a dining room with French doors opening to the wraparound porch. The large Great Room is a perfect gathering spot for families big and small, with an original fireplace and comfy new furniture. The mud room and first-floor bathroom have heated floors, and the open-floor concept chef's kitchen is a perfect place to cook family meals, sip coffee in the morning, and drink cocktails in the evening. The four bedrooms upstairs are part of the original house's design, but every room is furnished with brand new bed frames and mattresses to help you sleep comfortably after a big day outdoors.

You'll have a key code to gain access to your fully-private unit along Route 100. There is a locked door in the Great Room that accesses the other unit where the owners live. The rear unit and garage are only accessible by the owners, but the front house, wraparound porch, and side yard is entirely private for you to enjoy.

We are often in the other house on the property, but not always. Sometimes, we can be there to lend a hand in person, but please don't count on it. We're fully accessible, though, throughout your stay!

Weston is a quaint little Vermont town of under 600 residents. We're situated in the heart of ski country with outdoor activities for all seasons. Checkout our website for guides to everything in the area no mater what the season from summertime hikes and watering holes, to fall leaf-peeping to the fresh winter powder.

Downtown Weston is about 1 mile from Honeypot Farmhouse and totally walkable. That said, Route 100 is a "main road" and there are no sidewalks, so please be safe and do not send kids out unsupervised. The biggest perk of being on Route 100 is that it is the first street plowed every time it snows, so you can always get on the road. We have a huge driveway that can easily hold 4+ vehicles. We strongly urge you only to bring 4-wheel drive (or at least front-wheel drive) during Winter.

Please note this is absolutely not a party house. We designed this space with the intention of families and groups of adults respecting our home. If you're looking for a place to party, we kindly ask that you consider other listings. The owners and their families, friends, children, and pets are often in the back unit, but will always leave you to enjoy your stay in privacy. Dogs are welcome, but do require a pet deposit. We ask that you clean up after your four-legged friends both inside and outside. Thank you!

Splendid trip

First trip to Vermont and it was a memorable one. From the home to the beautiful outdoors it was a wonderful experience. That the farmhouse was in tip top shape as well as comfortable and roomy gave a nice foundation to an overall very special trip. Would definitely recommend!!

Very quaint New England retreat. It was well-located, close to Weston and Ludlow, Vermont, beautifully redone first floor and bathrooms.

We had a great experience at HoneyPot

HoneyPot was a wonderful experience for our small group of 4 . We skied at Stratton and Okemo and enjoyed cooking at house for most of our evenings . Kitchen and dining area are very well appointed and brand new. Family room was extremely comfortable with a very charming fireplace and amble supply of good wood. Would highly recommend to anyone interested.

Beautiful house close to Okemo

We were two families if 4 with 4 children and this was the perfect getaway spot for us. The house is prettier than in the pictures. The new kitchen is gorgeous and well stocked. We cooked most of our meals in the house, which was great because the area was crowded for February break. There are two full bathrooms on the second floor and a newer full bath with laundry on the main floor. The hosts were awesome! They left us local treats that we gobbled up (and drank!) that were appreciated and the communication was excellent. We also really enjoyed the cozy living room and fireplace after a day of skiing. There was plenty of firewood in the garage.

Honeypot, As Sweet a Stay as the Title Implies

We stayed at Honeypot Farmhouse for 3 nights with a group of 10 around New Year's Eve. Overall, the experience was fantastic! The house is decorated incredibly well and the hosts thought of every detail including a welcome sign for our group and a welcome basket with local items. Each time one of our friends arrived, their first remark was about how amazing the house was. One of the best aspects of Honeypot Farmhouse is that every room provides ample seating which allowed for comfortable socializing for the entire group. We enjoyed multiple fires in the fire place with the provided wood and also loved the large functional mud room area. The bathrooms were spacious, the bedrooms were comfortable, and everyone loved the kitchen. The hosts were very helpful in providing suggestions for activities in the area as well. In addition, on the day of our arrival, one of the brand new appliances unexpectedly broke down. The hosts informed us and were so thoughtful and accommodating by providing us with everything we would need including a partial refund as well as offering to collect all dishes and personally wash them! Honeypot Farmhouse is in close proximity to Okemo and we enjoyed multiple days of skiing with an easy drive between the house and mountain. We made wonderful memories and the house was perfect for our group. I would highly recommend staying at Honeypot Farmhouse!

Modern farmhouse with charm

We booked this property for our 2022 Christmas with family and it was a great choice. We had plenty of space for the 6 adults, one toddler and one dog to be comfortable and also cozy. The kitchen was a great size with a large dining table for all of us. It was great to have the little living area off the kitchen to be in the same room while people were cooking but also have a comfortable space to lounge. The big family room was awesome and where we spent most of our time playing games, sitting by the fire, watching a movie and opening Christmas morning gifts. There was a lot of comfortable seating and cozy blankets that made you feel right at home. We didn’t need to think about anything, the washer/dryer were brand new, all the linens felt new and fresh, there was plenty of firewood to use and with the Guidebook they sent it was easy to find additional information as needed. Although we ended up having a chilly weekend and didn’t get out to ski, this house was super convenient to many awesome ski mountains… a few of which you could even see from just down the road - really picturesque! There were even beautiful horses across the street at the neighbors farm that made the whole scenery feel like a perfectly classic New England winter! I would honestly say that what was even more magical than the house and landscape, were the owners. Brian and the other owners were SO kind and warming to me/us from start to finish. Brian was always accessible and quick to respond to any question I had, at any point, throughout the rental process and during our stay. He was super helpful and friendly on the day of our arrival (due to inclement weather), checking in with me and making sure we felt safe and had everything we needed. I felt really well cared for, which is not typical for a rental and I would say puts Brian in the highest above and beyond category. They even left a dog blanket and dog food mat out for us! I would 100% rent from Brian again and would recommend this house for a group who loves outdoor activities in the winter, and warmer, months as there is so much to do in the area.
