Good Nite Inns in Western United States

"Just a “meh” kind of place. People were not friendly or warm. There are no complimentary things. I was so thirsty when we arrived (obviously I could buy water but the line to check in was so long and took forever) usually there is water or coffee urns in the lobby, water in the room.. nothing. This hotel should be listed as a just below good. Our room smelled of cigarettes and was dark and dingey for a suite. After we checked out, we discovered left our passports in the room refrigerator, couldn’t find the safe (obviously my terrible mistake) when we called to get help they could care less I was told to fill out a lost and found form online and someone would call me back. By noon the next day I still had heard nothing. Missing or stolen psssports need to be reported asap and they could careless until I let them know I was calling the police about stolen passports from our room. It really felt like I wasn’t dealing with a human until I mentioned the police. Just a terrible experience. "
