"It was a bad experience. The refrigerator did not work. The coffee maker had moldy coffee in it. The electric was limited so you couldn't run ac most of the time. The wires to the heated water in the shower were cut and exposed so you don't have hot water and risk electrocution. The pictures in the ad must be 10 years old because it doesn't look like that now. There was a black cat that would keep coming into the house like it thought it belonged there. The location to the beach was...

"Come here for authentic Nicaraguan lifestyle. Simple bedrooms, cold showers and Mom's cooking. Mark is very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Mark hosts every meal and invited guides to inform us about hiking the volcanoes and arranged a 4-wheeler to come directly to the hostel which was very convient. "A good place to stay, with a good breakfast buffet. One thing I did not like much, was the air conditioning unit placed next to the bed and the air blows directly at you when in bed. It has a fixed venting, and they should consider to replace it with an oscillating system. Uncomfortable during sleep time and more if set to high mode. Other than that, had a good experience. A good swimming pool to relax in a hot weather."
