"This property is advertised as a two bedroom two bath. It is not true. When you get is a one bedroom, one bath with a bedroom being on the second floor in the bath on the first floor and a very, very tight dangerous spiral stairs between the downstairs and the bedroom upstairs. Turns out they say a second bed and bath is in a shack on the property that is now being used for storage. Top Western Highlands Hotel Reviews

Hotel Atitlán

10/10 Excellent

"You'll find a superb sanctuary, surrounded by gorgeous and perfectly groomed gardens, birds all around, and a front lane view to the most beautiful lake in the world. Combine this with heated pool, infinity jacuzzi, great food and beverages, cozy atmosphere and the friendliest of staff, and you have an all around unforgettable experience."

Perla Maya Hotel

8/10 Good

"Affordable rooms if you are passing through. Easy to walk to the lake and vendors, nice view to the volcanos. Breakfast is so delicious! 😋 The staff were so kind and they let me ckeck in earlier then expected after a long trip. I think they can improve the amenities. There should be a couch in the room instead of chairs and some extra blankets for cold weathers."
