Very clean, friendly staff, pet friendly motel near the beach and restaurants and shops. Not fancy but nice enough for a short beach trip with our dog.

Excellent place to stay if you love Misquamicut!

The Sea Shell Motel is a great place to stay if you love Misquamicut Beach. While this motel is somewhat dated, it is cosey and in a great location. Pros: Location (Proximity to the beach), Beautiful Bay Views, Great Cable TV, Good AC, Fridge/Microwave, Convenient Parking, Friendly Management Cons: Only offers double beds, Beds could use an upgrade, small rooms/bathrooms Overall: This place is great if you love Misquamicut Beach! I would recommend this motel to my friends.

The motel was OK-- room was not terribly clean and bathroom door was off its hinge. However, the convenient location of the motel and the free kayaks for use made up for that.

Was great for what I needed. Close to the beach and a couple of areas around the corner for breakfast. Owners and front desk staff were extremely nice and courteous. I understand that the establishment is for sale, therefore it seems as if they are waiting for the new owners to update. This doesn’t diminish how easy and convenient it is to get around the area. Rooms are small, but clean and give you exactly what you want. We’ll stay again.

Owner was very nice and attentive to our needs with anything else we needed. Quiet backyard with grill picnic tables and kayaks for use on salt pond. Rooms are a little tight, but for 4 people suggest going to beach ball inn across the street there sister property. Alot more room in there 2 bedrooms.

The motel is not well maintained at all. The wood is rotting. The rooms need to be painted and scrubbed. There are spider webs in the corners of the walls. The bed sheets, pillow cases and comforters were dirty and stained. There was a dead ant in the bed. The pillows are stained. Very disgusting. Should be looked into by the health department

It borders the salt pond which is beautiful and tranquil. There are free kayaks to use on it. There is a nice outdoor shower. Rooms are small but worth it for the location. I went with my son and we were comfortable. but More than 2 in a room might be cramped unless you really like each other. There were thoughtful hooks and shelves to help store things to make the most of the space. I only used the outdoor shower with attached changing area to reduce congestion in the room. location is great. Very near the beach. Recommend bringing bikes as area is bikeable. There is a nice drive- in nearby. Room has fridge and microwave. There is a nearby convenience store where we got milk and ate in the room for breakfast. Property has beautiful flowers.

This motel is not child friendly in any way, and you should not stay if you have any health issues. The two motels room we booked were covered in mold and rust, we stayed one night and unfortunately the mold made it so I could not breathe due to my asthma, and my child’s asthma so we had to cut our trip short .The shower head was covered in mold and We couldn’t use the air conditioners due to them being covered in black mold as well. When I reached out to Expedia to get a refund do to having to leave because of the mold and rust I was told the property management denied it. I will be contacting the board of health in the area along with disputing with my credit card company since I have many pictures and videos for proof of the unsanitary conditions. I wasn’t going to even write a review or make a problem, I just wanted a refund to not being able to stay because of health issues caused by the mold.
