"Our room was very clean. The bathroom could have used a good deep clean. The grout and bath tub was a little grimy. Our pillows were not comfortable. They barely had anything in them. Breakfast was yummy. The sausages were not warm enough. The coffee cups were very cheap and the lids did not fit. I took a drink and it spilled all over my shirt. The staff was friendly but not anything spectacular. We would recommend this place."

"The accommodations were nice for our stay. The neighborhood is decent but along a busy road with some dicey people that hangs out across the street at a tattoo parlor, late at night and very early morning. Traffic noise was mitigated by good insulation. A cop lives across the street so I trust he is good with the safety of the neighbors. Cleaning crew didn’t clean under couches or in cabinets well, but otherwise it was very clean. Beds were comfortable and linens were clean. On-street parking was sufficient for a couple of vehicles. Host was super helpful and available for contact with quick responses. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. "

"Decent hotel with exceptional friendly service. Rooms are large and clean. Don't expect the Marriott. I have stayed here multiple times, I love that it's dog-friendly, staff is always so very welcoming. Breakfast is nothing to shout about... but there's coffee and juice and toast and a waffle machine. Eggs are powdered... Overall, a stellar deal for those staying in Altavista. "
