"It’s an airport hotel so you can’t expect too much. Waiting for the airport shuttle in the cold for 45 min in the middle of the night is how it began. Then we only got one room although we booked two. The no refund policy tells you everything. If there was some level of customer service, that would not be needed. "

"My experience was ok in some areas but definitely have feedback for the hotel staff. The restaurant service was VERY slow--there were only a few of us in the area and it took over 45 minutes to get my food, and it was terrible food. It was not cooked well (I had seafood) so you can imagine what occurred. My second night, I needed to get to bed early so I could get to the airport knowing I'd experience delays and the hotel security kept coming up to my room and banging on my door for whatever reason. I finally called the desk after the second episode (I did not open the door) and asked if the hotel was on fire or something--otherwise do not disturb me with anxious security/staff. There was no valid reason for them to bang on my door--later finding out that there was a bag of old food outside my door and they wanted to know if it was mine--why didn't they just throw it away? If it was mine, I would have brought it in my room! The hotel accommodations were fine-clean without many amenities."

The room was clean, modern, and well maintained, which made it easy to relax after a long day. The location is also very convenient, especially if you’re exploring Flushing. There are plenty of great restaurants, shops, and transportation options nearby. I also appreciated how quiet and comfortable the hotel felt despite being in a busy area."

The rooms were very clean although they could use a bit of updating— overall our stay was wonderful and we will return. Fitzpatrick is our NYC go to hotel for every visit. "
