About this property

Yellowstone Studio # 5. Just One Mile From Yellowstone's Main Entrance

Located a mile (1.5 km) from Yellowstone National Park, this studio is right in the town of West Yellowstone. There is a comfortable king size bed, plus a small kitchen with a fridge, range, pots, pans and all you need for a self catering stay!

West Yellowstone is a very small town, with Yellowstone National Park on one side, and national forests on the other three sides.

If you're going to be cooking, we suggest you buy your groceries before you get here. There are two small markets in town. Both are terribly expensive, and do not have large selections. Please let us know which way you're coming, and we can suggest where to stop to stock up.

A maximum of two guests is permitted in this studio.

Sorry, no pets or cancellations, and NO KIDS UNDER 18, please!
Please note that check-in closes at 10 pm. I'm sorry but it will not be possible to check-in after 10 pm. Before booking, please make sure you can be here before 10 pm, as we cannot make exceptions to the check-in time. Please take delays in the park into consideration. You never know when you may run into a buffalo jam! Please do not ask if we can make an exception to the check in-time. I regret that we cannot. The reason for this is that we do not want the noise of late check-ins disturbing other guests who may be trying to sleep. Once you're here, you can get back to your room any time you choose. It's just the noise from checking in we're trying to avoid late at night. Thank you for your consideration!

Please be aware that if you're coming in the winter months, there are times when our entrance (the west entrance to Yellowstone) is closed altogether. At other times in the winter, it is only open to snowmobiles and snowcoaches, and you cannot take your car or bike into the park. Before booking, please check to make sure that you can do what you need to do while in our area.

Please remember check in closes at 10 p.m.!!!

Excellent place to stay for exploring Yellowstone. Just a few minutes from the West entrance.

Perfect place for 2 people that prefer to make their own meals instead of eating out. Fully stocked kitchen allowed us to prepare all our meals in house and keep costs down. Very comfortable accommodations and cozy size for 2. Owner/manager was very communicative! Would recommend!

Property was clean, bed was very comfortable. Very quiet. It is a small place but has everything you need and is in walking distance of downtown West Yellowstone. Only a few minutes away from the park entrance. Having the ability to prepare your own meals is a big plus.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The property does look like the photos, but it is very small. We traveled with two large suitcases and there is really only room for one. There are no outside photos and I would not have stayed here if I had seen the outside.

I have stayed in many vrbos… this apt looked good online. It was clean … almost too clean as the bleach smell was overwhelming. We arrived at 7pm. It was dark… it’s a good thing because this apt has no online outside pics b/c if you saw where u staying u would drive away. It’s not on a good neighborhood. The shower splashed everywhere all over the floor. So after a day of Yellowstone- we couldn’t shower. Lesson learned… I won’t book if there are not outside pics. Walls are paper thin. We could hear the neighbors clear as day. Plus 300 for this is robbery.

Great space

This is a nice space, just as advertised. Big bathroom, kitchen, extra living area beyond the bed. Nicer & more spacious than your standard hotel room. It's a bit off the beaten path compared to other hotels in West Yellowstone so it's a tad less walkable, but that also makes it a quieter.

It is acceptable, not great.

it is ok for two people; the room has everything you need. The property is about 15 minutes from downtown, you have to drive to restaurant. There is no view from the window at all - you are seeing the fence, so never want to open the shade. The check-in is very bad - you get the address just few hours before the check-in time, so you never knew the location before. There is no cancelation policy at all.

Great place outside Yellowstone

We had a great stay! The property was perfect for what we needed, with a small kitchenette, and was very reasonably priced. There was plenty of parking outside the units and in the parking lot. The check in and out process was straightforward as well! I would definitely stay here again!

I would not stay here again!

The units looked like there were converters from a storage facilty. There’s is nowhere to sit comfortably outside. The place is at the end of town. The unit looked nice inside, but was not very functional. The shower head aimed towards the curtain. The lighting was hot. It had a potable ac unit that was loud and inefficient. We had a couple minor issues, but when I contacted Sissel the manager his reply’s were less than desirable. He basically called me a liar. Blamed the fridge door problem on us. When he told me he was 10,000 mikes away. I said well that explains it. Meaning how could he possible know what really is going on. He in a foreign country. He then called me a racist. We cut our trip and left early because we just were not comfortable sleeping or taking a shower. The two main things you want when your out all day visiting parks and hiking. They kept the full payment.

We enjoyed this cozy little room during our few days in Yellowstone. There were plenty of amenities to keep us comfortable in the cold winter weather. Would recommend.
