My first time renting a vacation home/cabin. This one came with very thoughtful and useful amenities. Highly recommend this place.
It was a great place to stay close to West Yellowstone with island park not being too far either. There was enough room to park a big snowmobile trailer as well as two other pickups. We we able to hop on the trail right from the cabin. Honestly don’t know how it could have been better. Good experience for sure and would go back
We stayed here 5 nights while exploring Yellowstone and Grand Teton. Property was very clean and comfortable. Beds were nice to sleep on after a long day. Unit had washer and dryer that made it convenient. Kitchen had everything that you need to cook a meal. We were a large family so we also had the unit next door. Overall we were all happy with our stay and would definitely come back
Excellent vacation rental so close to Yellowstone! Our family of 5 was quite happy and comfortable in every way - clean property, comfy beds, quiet neighborhood, close to the park and to grocery stores and restaurants. The kids loved the game room and having their own space to enjoy, and we also enjoyed the kitchen and laundry to meet our needs the whole trip. We highly recommend this vacation rental!
A short drive to West Yellowstone, super easy to enter the park, great accommodation with comfortable beds and lots of space for the kids to play both indoors and out.
This was the perfect place for our family of 12 to stay. It was perfectly located close to Yellowstone National Park. It had all that we needed and the owner was very attentive and responsive to any of our questions.

excellent stay!!
We stay at the Shepherd Family Retreat while visiting Yellowstone. This was one of the best accommodations we have had. They had everything we needed and plenty of space for everyone. Would definitely stay here again.
This place was our favorite! So comfortable and spacious! Very clean and had everything we needed for our family of 6. Our teens loved having the additional house for themselves and all the games. The beds were very comfortable and cozy. We all slept great. The location is perfect, just a 5 min drive from West Gate but still away from the town so it felt private and quiet.
House & guest house about 5 miles out of West Yellowstone. Quick access to West entrance into Yellowstone. Beds are comfortable and towels were plush and bedding was like you’ll find in nice hotels. Kitchen was well equipped! Cleaning supplies, paper products were provided exactly as described. Love the night lights, very helpful when staying in a new place. Cute and cozy home. Disposal & ice maker would be nice.
Our group of six included 2 older children, parents and grandparents. This property was perfect for our group. It was clean and had everything we needed. The information/recommendations from the host were very helpful. The home is convenient to the west entrance of Yellowstone. It is also close to town but in a quiet and more private setting. I would definitely recommend this property to families or anyone that wants a comfy and convenient home base to explore Yellowstone and other attractions.
Loved the house, the location and all
It had to offer. We were a group of 6 adults and 4 were 80+. It was great that the 2 beds were on the ground floor as they’re not very mobile. The house was stocked w everything we needed. Loved it was 10 mins. from the west entrance.
Both the swivel chairs in the lr had screws fall out. We put them back in but you should look at themOther than that it was great

This property is good for a large group (10 people), to be relax and have fun together, while visiting Yellowstone.
But internet connectivity (I think through Direct TV) is terrible - Wifi does not work most of time, and Cellphone coverage even with roaming works rarely. To make reliable calls have to go to West Yellowstone which is 5miles from property.
TV is good, but we cannot watch a movie using our Netflix or Youtube videos, due to bad internet.
Kitchen is good with utensils, and beds are good - slept well even in futon.
But leather couch in living room sinks in and is dirty and worn out.
The house was very clean and well taken care of. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessities for cooking meals and the house included toilet paper and laundry stuff along with a can of bear spray. The location was easy access to the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park and the town. It was perfect for taking both sets of our senior parents on a trip. Each main bedroom had its own bathroom. We had some great memories here!
We loved this rental! House was spotlessly clean, kitchen modern, spacious and well stocked, comfortable beds and couches. Our kids loved the basketball game in the game room. Plenty of space for everyone (we had 4 adults and 3 kids). Weather was iffy so we didn’t use the yard area much, but enjoyed the views, and saw a moose and fox from the windows! Easy 10 minute drive to Yellowstone west entrance. Absolutely recommend this house!
