VRBO made changes to collecting taxes (eff Oct 1 2019) and do not process required local city taxes. The town of West Yellowstone has a 4% resort tax which will be calculated after booking is accepted. This required tax will be shown as an additional payment and must be paid 30 days prior to your booking date. The tax is calculated on the total base rental rate (does not include VRBO service fee) as required by statute.

Cabin in the Sky is a cozy remodeled cabin - affordable and conveniently located in town! Just a minute to the West gate entrance to Yellowstone Park. Great for 2 couples or a family with kids. Custom mattress sets in the bedrooms!
The Cabin can sleep 5 adults comfortably, up to 7 people including children if using the living area sofa bed. Pass through bedroom access. The bedrooms are adjoining, as you pass through the front bedroom to access the second bedroom. One full bath with tub/shower.

The cabin is great for families, with a well stocked kitchen that has everything you might need, dishwasher, coffee-maker, toaster, crock pot and all cooking utensils, cookware, dishes and glassware. 2 dining bars (seats 4 & 2) no dining table.

Less than a minute from the West Entrance gate to Yellowstone National Park, 2 blocks to the renowned Rendezvous XC Ski and bike trails, 1/2 block from access to miles of back country snowmobile, hiking and biking trails. ENJOY!!

Conveniently located in a quiet part of the town of West Yellowstone, in a residential area, set back from the street, with off-street parking and a community parking area with space for trailers next to the cabin. (no hook-ups, Town park).

Sip coffee on the nice front deck with outdoor seating and breathe the invigorating pure mountain air. Grill your favorite meal on the gas barbecue.

Relax and use your own personal apps on the flat screen Smart TVs (no satellite programming) A choice of books and games too!
Fiber Optic internet access is included.

Warm weather or cold smoke!! It's the perfect, convenient location as a base for your visit to Yellowstone and the beautiful Montana outdoors. In the warm season enjoy wildlife, scenic rivers and high mountain streams, Hebgen Lake, hiking/biking trails, and special events. The Cabin is just a half block away from access to hundreds of miles of Forest Service biking/ATV trails, Rendezvous cross country ski/bike trails, Come and visit, we welcome you!!

The bedrooms are ADJOINING, BR # 1 - Queen bed, BR # 2 - full bed and a twin bed. A pull-out sectional couch (full bed) is available to sleep 1- 2 more guests in the living area. Suitable for 5 adults and/or 2 children, maximum 7. Not suitable for more than 5 adults.
Cabin in the Sky is on the same property as Blue Cloud House, VRBO # 118423. If you have a large group, reserve both properties for a grand get away!

Nice little Cabin...

The cabin was as advertised, clean and well stocked. Walking distance to the visitor center and other West Yellowstone stores and restaurants. The owner responds right away to any inquiries and questions. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Cozy Cabin

Our family enjoyed our stay here. Walking through the bedroom wasn’t a problem for us. The kitchen was well supplied with cooking utensils and pans. We enjoyed walking to the Buffalo Bar.

Cute cabin for our Yellowstone Adventure

The cabin was perfect for me and my husband. It was clean, comfortable and had a nice little kitchen. All communication with Maggie was great. She’s very responsive.

Small but cozy, cabin was just what we needed for our family. Clean with a very nice kitchen and bathroom. Location just outside Yellowstone entrance was perfect since we spent most of our time in the park.

Snowmobiling Trip

Nice place to relax after a day playing in the mountains. Perfect for 2 of us and all of our gear. Full stove/oven and fridge. Maggie was very accommodating and answered questions promptly. Someone even shoveled the deck for us while we were there. Would stay again next visit.

Was bummed there wasn’t laundry on site, but there is a coin laundry a couple blocks away that was clean and nice. Otherwise a good stay.

Great place close to park

This was a terrific little cabin for us woth two boys. The 2nd bed room is accessible through the 1st which was a surprise but it worked out fine. Location is close to restaurants and the park. Loved the Grizzly and wolf discovery center!

Nice clean place in West Yellowstone. Owner was very responsive. Would stay again without reservation. Only complaint was internet was iffy, but hey you’re in Montana you should be doing something else

Cozy spot for our Yellowstone visit

This cozy cabin was small but perfect for our visit to Yellowstone with two kids (5yo and 1yo). The owner was incredibly gracious and helpful, and we had everything we needed for our two night stay. It was even stashed with games and coloring books that our boys enjoyed. Would recommend for a small family visiting Yellowstone—mere minutes from the park entrance!

Great location

This cabin was in a prime location just minutes from the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park. It’s a bit on the smaller side for a bigger family. Maggie was very responsive when we had a question. Would recommend!

Yellowstone family vacation

Close proximity to the west entrance to Yellowstone. We weren't looking for some place fancy spending at least 12 hours a day in the park. This place was perfect. Clean, with everything we needed to make dinners nightly. The beds were comfortable and grocery stores were within walking distance (although, they were much more expensive than i thought). We had an awesome experience and would stay there again.

Stay at Cabin in the Sky

The cabin was immaculately clean and provided for all our needs. All the necessary amenities were available and then some. We were fortunate enough to meet Maggie when she quietly stopped by to water her plants. She is delightful! Yellowstone National Park is around the corner (literally) especially the geyser basins and Old Faithful. We enjoyed ourselves immenseley.

Roomy cabin close to Yellowstone

Enjoyed our stay in this roomy cabin. Very close to West Yellowstone entrance. Host provided many amenities which was a plus. Only reason for not giving this 5 stars was the outdoor area. Was not crazy about the neighborhood it was located in. Other than that, it was a great stay.

Great base camp for visiting Yellowstone.

I have to admit the Cabin in the Sky is a little more rustic than the holiday homes we usually choose, but it is very much in keeping with the West Yellowstone vibe. It is a great location for visiting the park and for exploring West Yellowstone and the surrounding area. The cabin was clean, cozy, and comfortable. Our host could not have been more accommodating. She made sure we had everything we needed and was very responsive when we had a question or request.

Great small place for family

Very happy with space. Only thing lacking is a great place to hang out outside. The patio is great the view is of an alley. Love the cabin though. For the price and location could not ask for a better place. Super happy with everything. Especially impressed with the little extras included in the cabin.

This home was a good stay for us. We had 3 adults and 1 teenager and the space worked out well for us the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked and it was very comfortable. Our only complaint would be that the internet was slow. But we were on vacation so ‘so what!’
