All, good at the property. Serving staff, were a little slow .. seem to be understaffed. On site parking bays are difficult to get into and out of .

Thank you for your comments.Unfortunately where we are such a small team if someone calls in ill, it does make it more difficult for us.Our car park, yes is rather quirky, but on street parking is available free on some of the High Street after 4pm

I stayed right at the top in a double with low ceilings, a view over rooftops to hills. En suite bathroom with bath no shower. The stairs are quite a few but you can pause half way up to look at antiques. There is no lift. Bed was very comfortable indeed. Would have liked a shower attachment in bath to wash hair. The snug bar at ground floor is very cosy. The receptionist was very helpful with advice and a phone charger for my sister. Arundel is a lovely but very steep town. Bring your walking shoes. Loved my room great nights sleep, interesting books in the room. Toiletries and hair dryer provided.

Great location. Comfortable room, however being a courtyard room it was subject to noisy industrial bins being moved around before 8am. Also woken by fire alarm that went off twice.

We had a ground floor room onto a busy a noisy area, with little privacy. Hotel room was a bit tired with mould along the edges of the bath. Overall it was OK but I wouldn’t rush back. The staff were all really nice and helpful.

Really enjoyed our stay. Very helpful staff. Room was very clean. Room contained usual facilities but most welcome was the fan. Excellent location and would certainly use again.

It was an old building but quaint the room had a mixture of old and new furniture,and were decorated lovely,in general was a great place definitely recommend and will definitely go back at some point only 15 mins from goodwood racecourse which is why we booked this in Arundel in the 1st place

great location. lovely courtyard rooms.
the courtyard rooms are comfortable. the bed was very comfortable too. parking £6 a day in their car park. excellent location right in the centre of arundel and opposite restaurants and cafes. few mins walk to the castle and the river. the food was excellent if a bit pricy but we found all the restaurants were about the same price as the hotel. the courtyard could do with resurfacing. you do get noise from people sitting in the courtyard as the bedroom windows open on to the courtyard where people are chatting. we will definitely return.

I stay fairly frequently here and the service was great as always, the staff are super, we had dinner as well which is highly recommended. But, I stayed in a bath only room (27) and the hot tap just didn’t run, I mean it dribbled to a stop and that is not good enough. On checkout I was advised the pump was broken, but that being the case they should have called me and advised this, there are many places to stay in Arundel and I could have altered my stay, assuming they were fully booked. Like I will when I next book, ask the question are the taps for the bath working…..shame as I do like it at this hotel.

We had a great stay but unfortunately the baths hot was not working very well, it was only a dribble and therefore took 40mins to get enough water to wash in. We did let them know but it was still not fixed but the time we left.
