The location is perfect for the price if you want to use the rail station at Tarrytown to get to NYC. Just a drive across the Hudson and you are there. Both the hotel and station are just a short distance off the ramps for 287.
Continental breakfast was great and the dining area was spacious and nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It is a great location to explore Nyack and it's waterfront.
The room at the back section of the hotel was fine. The room was a little worn, but clean and everything worked. The beds and bedding were great and the bath was nice. Free parking, a luxury in these parts.
The only complaint is the AC produced a slight cigarette odor, even though the hotel has a very strict no smoking policy. The cleaning staff did a great job in minimizing this, but cigarette smoke is so difficult to get rid of.
We will definitely stay again the next time we go to NYC.
