PERFECT GETAWAY SPOT

Had a fantastic stay here. Perfect spot to unwind and relax but still close to stores/restaurants, etc. Loved the pool and Tiki Hut!!

Nice stay in West Palm Beach

We enjoyed our short stay at Beachy Tiki. The place is cozy and comfortable, and the location is great. It’s near any shopping or entertainment you could need, and central to the area. The host Karen greeted us and showed us around. We enjoyed sitting and watching the catfish jump right on the Intercoastal!

Loved our stay

We stayed at Beachy Tiki for three full weeks, and it truly felt like home. The apartment is spacious, and we were able to cook many meals and enjoy all the accommodations including the pool. The neighborhood is very walking friendly. Karen is a wonderful lady and we now consider her a friend. We enjoyed our stay so much, we’ve booked for the week of Christmas!

Great location, clean, just like the pictures, and the host is so kind! She gave us great suggestions for local places to eat and things to do. Everything you need is only a couple minutes away, including the beach!

I really enjoyed watching the pelicans diving for their dinner. The peacefulness of this location was appreciated. Also enjoyed the kitties. Only drawback was the TV. Everything else was fine.

Great house, beautiful view, close to amenities!

We enjoyed our stay at Karen's VRBO. It rained or was overcast the whole time we were there, but we hung out on the patio under the Tiki roof, and it was lovely! It was within walking distance of a couple neat places. We ate at Debra's Cafe, which had excellent breakfast. We also enjoyed espresso and freshly-baked Cuban pastries at Tulipan. Highly recommended!

Great location - perfect for a couple!

Karen was a great hostess - always available when needed and super friendly. The apartment is off of her main house and provided everything we needed. Being on the water was also nice. We fished and sat out on the dock a few times - very relaxing. The pool was nice to jump in on a hot day. the location was prefect - close to so many things! Thank you for your hospitality, Karen.

Cozy & Clean Unit with Waterview

Unit was very clean with cozy decor and was quite large for just the two of us. I would have liked to have taken the bedroom walk-in closet home with me! Had our coffee every morning by the lake, under the tiki hut. Karen was very nice & recommended a very nice park for me to ride my bike & was very accommodating with bike storage when not in use. A restaurant just a couple doors down did not look so great on the outside but had the best food! In fact was my favorite meal of the whole trip. If you don’t mind staying in the same unit as the owner, this is a good choice.

Unfortunately not as nice as expected

Pictures looked great but not as good in person. Bathroom was dirty with spots on the toilet, and old bar of soap in the shower and a loofah. Didn’t seem to be cleaned prior to our arrival. The deadbolt does not work and lacked a feeling of security while sleeping. Pool needed cleaning but was too hot to use anyway. The owner was out a couple of times and was nice. Not a bad place. Great location, just not worth 5 stars. Maybe something has changed recently???

Superb

My granddaughter and I were on a college tour and had an appointment in Palm Beach for Monday, June 24, 2024. I wanted us to have an opportunity to check out the area before our college tour appointment so booked this location based on pictures and previous review. It did not disappoint! The pictures were accurate,on the VRBO website, especially for the interior of the apartment. It was lovely and clean. Very roomy for two people. Loved sitting outside by the water (lagoon or canal - I don't know) and pool. My granddaughter was anxious to use her paddle board so was out on the water late in the afternoon one evening. The location is convenient to several beaches and John D McArthur State park - another location that is great for canoeing, kayaking, or paddle boarding. We met the hostess, who lives on the property, with her fur babies the first night and felt immediately at ease and comfortable. I would definitely stay again and have recommended it to my daughter and son-in-law if my granddaughter ends up going to college in the area.

Needs some TLC

This property has a ton of potential. Unfortunately, it needs a lot of work to reach that potential. The positives were the location was great, our host, Karen, was very nice, the kitchen had some nice upgrades and the views were very pretty. The negatives were that the property needs a professional cleaning. The shower/ toilet area bordered on the verge of gross. The tub had mold all over it and just felt dirty. The windows desperately need to be replaced and the smell of cat urine was overwhelming at times. When we got home we had to wash everything and we felt like we smalled like cat urine everywhere we went. There were a few other maintenance issues, which were addressed quickly. The pool was dirty and i did not feel comfortable swimming in it, which was disappointing because we specifically wanted a place with a pool. Granted, if the unit was up to the level it should have been we probably would have paid more for it than we did but the smell was the only thing we couldn't get passed. Would not stay here again.

Alot of aunts in the house. Cat litter box smell. No water pressure in bathroom. Over all stay was good. Home owner was very nice.
