"It was a great experience"

"Overall we had a lovely stay. Only complaint was that we were cold in the evenings…it was less than 10° outside and the bar had air-conditioning on! We got really cold. The restaurant was also cold, so we only ate there the first night. The food was good, spoilt only by my poached eggs being cool the first day, and when I asked for them to be hot the second morning, they were only just warm! Otherwise a lovely breakfast. Shower very good, and plenty of hot water for baths to warm us up!"

"One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Travelled from Scotland to run the London marathon. Paid £350 for one night. The taps were loose, the aircon was held together with tape, mould around the windows, the walls at the back of the bed, where the pillows sit were peeling and worn, the attached bedside cabinet was unstable, there was lumps of hair in the shower and to top it off, I was woken up by very loud music at 11pm. I went down to reception 3 times to ask them to find out where it was coming from. Turns out it was from the restaurant below. Eventually the music went off. Worst experience ever, especially for the money and the fact I was running a marathon!"

"A very nice clean hotel , with very polite, professional and hardworking staff that work as a team. Great choice for the buffet breakfast to which is very good,also there as some lovely reasonably priced dishes you choose via Marriott website. Parking very convenient as you are in town centre location. Public transport shops,bars and restaurants can be accessed within 5 mins walk. Good pub with very good menu across the road, and the hotel gym with all the essential equipment for a decent workout. When I researched the area, I couldn't find better hotel for the price with these facilities , parking, town centre, gym, bars and restaurants shopping centre, public transport, hotel bar and restaurant. If anyone has found a better place, please let me know."
