Cozy ranch about 5.5 miles from Purdue University, conveniently located minutes from Coyote Crossing golf course, peaceful backyard with a firepit. Family friendly 2 bedroom house with an updated bathroom. Fully stocked with washer and dryer. Wifi available with Roku. 2 car garage

My recent stay at the "Soldiers Home," or as I fondly call it, the "Field Of Dreams" rental in West Lafayette, was a delightful experience. Situated just 5.5 miles from Purdue University, it's an ideal spot for students, proud parents, or anyone who enjoys the company of brainy Boilermakers. But there's more to this cozy two-bedroom gem nestled in a quiet neighborhood. The place is not just cute; it's Instagram-worthy. The attention to detail is impressive, making it feel like a home away from home. From the well-equipped kitchen with a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker to the abundance of dishes and utensils, it's a paradise for those who love cooking. The laundry facilities are a lifesaver, complete with a washer and dryer. They've even thought of the little things, like providing a hairdryer – a small touch that adds to the overall comfort. The backyard is a relaxation haven with inviting Adirondack chairs. Parking is a breeze with a spacious driveway. Entertainment-wise, there's a TV with Roku, and if you have an Apple TV account, you're in for a treat. I couldn't resist binge-watching "The Morning Show" – a phenomenal cast, no doubt. Safety is a top priority here, with smoke detectors, a fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide detectors, and a first aid kit. You'll feel safer than ever. The property is situated away from the hustle of campus and its immediate surroundings, but still close to where it didn't take long to get there. Would be a perfect place to stay again for a game day!

Purdue Student Needed a Temporary Place to Stay
My PU student needed a place to live for the first few days of class, as her apartment lease started a week after classes began. She and I shared the Soldiers Home property for the week and everything was awesome. The house is clean, comfortable and worked out perfectly for us. The property manager was friendly and very responsive. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
