Charming fully renovated home near PURDUE

Country charm only 2.5 miles from Purdue University. Get to campus quickly while enjoying the peaceful setting across from Fort Ouiatenon. Walking trail, bicycling routes, and boat ramp located within steps! Quaint 3 bed, 2 bath home fully remodeled in Spring of 2022. Convenient to Purdue & downtown Lafayette. Each bedroom has a smart TV. Musical instruments included in living room in addition to smart TV for your entertainment. Enjoy overlooking Fort Ouiatenon from front porch rocking chairs.

3 tastefully decorated bedrooms and 1 bathroom with rain head shower upstairs, 1 bathroom on the main level with a gorgeous clawfoot tub.

Directly across from Fort Ouiatenon public park and the Wabash River. Public ramp for small boat, kayaks, paddle boards, canoes, etc.

2 parking spaces at the top of the driveway on level surface. 2-3 additional cars can fit in single lane driveway (steep incline). No parking on grass.

Home renovation completed May 2022. Yard and landscaping in progress. As seen in pictures, this property is in a wooded area. House is treated regularly by licensed pest control company but bugs/pests may occur.

Wonderful Property

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely and cozy home in Lafayette near Purdue. We were in town for a wedding, and were traveling with our pup. The home was very clean and the kitchen was great and well-stocked for allowing us to be able to cook some of our meals. The park across the street was really great for being able to take our dog out too! The property owners were very easy to communicate with and responded quickly. Highly recommend this property!

Great Visit

I actually lived in this home over 25 years ago. It was great to come to town for a visit and return "home"! The house is beautifully updated, but still has the same charm. It's a great house and a convenient location. Great option for a family or small group.

Perfect place for Purdue FB Game

A great home for a Purdue visit! We enjoyed the weekend with family who joined us for the football game and tailgating. Our Purdue student sons were close enough to come over for a “home” cooked meal. The house was clean, comfortable and close to campus. We will be staying here in the future!

Wonderful Stay!

We loved our stay! The living area was spacious, and the kitchen was well furnished with new appliances. We hosted our daughter's family each afternoon and the downstairs was perfect for two small children. The "music corner" was a nice touch and much enjoyed by our family. The owner was responsive and provided great instructions. Overall, it was perfect. We'll definitely look to stay here again when visiting our family.

Clean, nicely remodeled farmhouse.

We stayed at this farmhouse for Easter weekend to visit our Purdue daughter with family. It was a great location, close to Purdue, yet in a country setting. The home was clean with a well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the family area with plenty of seating to watch Purdue basketball games. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a family getaway or visiting your Purdue student.

Cozy and perfect

This home was just so adorable! I loved the decor and it was so very clean. I wish we could have stayed longer to fully enjoy our time, but it was a quick weekend for moving our Purdue student into housing. The owner was very responsive and kind. I did have trouble adjusting the temperature of the home, but I think that was user error not anything to do with the house. Easy check in and check out. I’d definitely stay here again.

Relaxing Weekend

Wonderful house for a long weekend in the countryside, across the road from a park. The house is clean and comfortable with all the necessary amenities. Lots of dishes & glasses for your party to use, although only 5 coffee mugs and no large frying pan. Could also use a nightlight in the upstairs bathroom.

Hidden Gem

We decided to visit Chicago for our aniversary. After a 9 hour toad trip we felt so relieved to arrive to a clean, well furnished home. This home has all the essentials both in the kitchen and in the laundry/utility room. We decided to dedicate an entire day to enjoy the board games, throw some steaks on the grill, explore the park across the street, and sit on the porch to enjoy the rocking chairs. So glad we did 😊 they really pay attention to detail for their guests.

Wonderful for the price!

The house was exactly as it looks in the photos. Very charming and clean. Also peaceful. Just be aware that the “2 twin beds in the common space” are the two (very hard) futons in the living room. My group was made up of seven 40-yr-old women and there was no way any of us could sleep on those things, so two of us ended up having to share one of the actual twin beds in a bedroom. I highly suggest taking an air mattress and your own pillows if you have more than 6 people over the age of 25!

Proximity for people and dogs!

This property was perfect for us! You feel like you're in the country, but you are 10 min or less from "civilization". The house is clean, and the kitchen is WELL stocked with cooking utensils, silverware, glassware; however, only 4 mugs (plan accordingly if you're a mug user). The house is across the street from the park, so absolutely EXCELLENT for dog/human exercise. Lots of wide open spaces to play. We crated our dogs in the wash room, with plenty of additional space to move around. A shout out to Le Peep for breakfast/lunch and Dos Amigos for dinner. You won't be disappointed! And, how nice to be able to bring our leftovers back to a GREAT kitchen!! Never had any problems ... 6 night stay!!

Purdue vs ND

As we came into the house we noticed how clean it was. The only real problem was that the ice machine did not work but after I mentioned it the owner brought ice and water to us in ten minutes. The pictures are good but the floors were kind of awkward to walk on because they sloped at certain places. My parents had trouble walking up the stairs because they are 80 and 75 which is why you might want to put a railing from the first floor to the landing to the upstairs. If you do walk to the park area across the street you might want to watch as you cross the road because cars drive fast. The best part is sitting out on the deck and overlooking the park. I enjoyed the stay and would recommend it to the closeness to Purdue and communication with owner.

The house was very clean and updated. We had everything we needed to make a Thanksgiving meal for our family. We had a minor issue with the water and the owner responded immediately and took care of it. We also got 8 inches of snow during our stay and the driveway was unexpectedly cleared for us. We appreciated that so much!
