Wonderful Cabin close to West Jefferson

Great Cabin in the Woods. Plenty of room..massive wrap around covered porch. We loved it for an entire month.

Great Get-Away!

My husband and I had a lovely two days at the cabin with our pup in tow. We checked out the Old Barn Winery and highly recommend a visit. The house is super clean, comfortable and everything you’ll need is available.

Great secluded getaway

This a beautiful property. Secluded and quiet but close enough to town to visit shops, get groceries, go to restaurants daily. The downtown area of West Jefferson is fun, beautiful, and friendly. Highly recommend this property. We visited with our 3 adult children and had plenty of room to spread out and relax. Would definitely visit again!

Wonderful Property!!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The property was impeccably clean and well-maintained, both inside and out. It offered plenty of space, stunning mountain views, and our dogs absolutely loved the yard. The location was perfect—convenient to both West Jefferson and Boone. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

Fabulous rustic retreat

Beautiful cabin

This was a great place to stay! There were 8 of us and we were very comfortable. There is even a Christmas tree farm out the window that was snow dusted and beautiful. We plan to go back and would highly recommend it.

Fantastic property

All I can say is wow, this is one of the best places we stayed at using VRBO. Communication from the owner was incredible and the cabin had everything we could possibly need.Our kids are older now, but it was great to see how the property was stocked with all kinds of accommodations from high chairs to toys for very young kids. Our dog loved the wraparound porch and just did laps around it constantly

Loved our stay!!

I can’t say enough good things about our stay here. The cabin is in a great location to downtown West Jefferson (and even closer to the winery). The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking. It’s very kid and pet friendly and everything was very clean. We would absolutely stay here again.

Restful and relaxing cabin

We loved our stay at this cabin. Clean and cozy just like home away from home. We hope to return soon. The host was excellent also. I am a first time VRBO user and certainly plan on using VRBO next time as well.

Lovely House and Location

This was our 2nd stay at Rustic Retreat. We love this house, it is clean, nicely decorated, pet-friendly, and in a quiet and scenic location. The owners are responsive and care about making their guest's stay comfortable and their experience positive. We are looking forward to visiting again in the future!

Rustic Retreat

Beautiful cabin in the woods with wraparound porch to enjoy the mountain views. Convenient to West Jefferson, BRP and Boone. Owner was very attentive, cabin had all of the comforts of home. Highly recommend Rustic Retreat, will be staying here again on future visits.

Perfect getaway

We were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and comfort of this cabin. The leather couch in the living room was like a big hug and I think everyone ended up napping on it at some point. Great communication, nice yard, great location and we have already made plans to visit again next year!

Great place to stay.

Clean, everything worked. Owner was very responsive to our questions. Furnishings are comfortable & we enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. The beds were very comfortable !! Appreciated having laundry supplies, olive oil & plenty of pans to cook with. The road is good but a little bit of a climb.

Mountain get away

The cabin was very clean, comfortable and inviting. Love the deck that wraps around the house. Beautiful for enjoying coffee or a glass of wine. The only challenge we had was with the fireplace not working. The only did repair it but it took 3 days. Would 100% stay again and recommend to my family & friends

Peaceful and well equipped

This property is exactly as described. Although the Mountain views are somewhat obstructed by trees, we actually found the setting more peaceful because of this. We were visiting to celebrate a graduation from App State, and had events occurring near West Jefferson at the App State Farm. For this reason, it was very convenient and an easy drive to events. We cooked most of our meals, and found the kitchen well equipped in terms of appliances and pots and pans. The furniture and beds are very comfortable, and there were numerous blankets and quilts to make our leisure time even more cozy. The property manager was very responsive and even accommodated a special request. This was a lovely stay, and I definitely recommend this property for future guests!
