"This is my new favorite place to stay while in Des Moines. Very friendly staff the moment you walk in. It was clean and had everything I needed. On check out again the staff were amazing. Very friendly. I forgot my necklace and didn't realize it till later. The staff went above and beyond to help find it. It had slipped behind the night stand so I did not see it when I left. I called and they went and looked and tossed the bed trying to find it. I was in tears but they called me back and they had found it. They were so nice and so helpful. I will be staying again and again when I am in Des Moines all the time."

"I absolutely loved my stay at Rewind in Des Moines and would definitely stay here again! We stayed Friday through Monday, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The location couldn’t be better. Everything you could possibly need is nearby. Walmart and Target are less than five minutes away, and there are plenty of great dining and shopping options close by, including spots like Texas Roadhouse and Olive Garden, as well as Jordan Creek Town Center for even more shopping. The hotel itself has such a fun, unique aesthetic. The artwork throughout the property is amazing and really adds to the overall vibe, with colorful retro-inspired murals and eye-catching vintage-themed pieces that make every hallway feel interesting. One of my favorite features was the photo booth in the lobby—you can take pictures and have them instantly sent to your phone by text, which was such a cool touch. From the atmosphere to the convenience and overall experience, everything exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Des Moines!"

"We usually love this hotel but this time our room was a disaster. Blinds broken, TV remote broken, mattress sunk in the middle, and worst, the door lock was broken (didn’t discover til bedtime and too late to move). And the door peephole, someone tore the little cover off so had to stuff. Not a great sleep or stay! The kicker will be if the hotel actually gives us a deserved refund."

"I was greeted with a smile from the Desk Clerk, completely apprised of all the amenities and urged to make use of them. My room was delightfully clean and cooled, beginning with the sitting room and kitchenette, separate room for sleeping, and yet another room for shower and toilet. Needless to say, my first luxury was dropping my luggage in the waiting rack and climbing in to the hot shower which had shampoo/conditioner/body cleanser readily available, a very welcome option following the past day and night full of missed and delayed flights. Tucked in to the counter was a powerful hair dryer - very welcome as I neglected to bring mine. Within an hour of arrival, I was restored and ready to attend my granddaughter's graduation events thanks to the functionality of the room! The next morning I was amazed at the hot buffet breakfast prepared and served up by two friendly, helpful hosts. The buffet offered hot steamy biscuits and gravy, sausage, light fluffy scrambled eggs, cereal - both hot and cold, yogurt, toast, bagels, juice and coffee bars and so much more. Guests could choose to eat in or outside on the beautiful patio or surrounding grounds. Check out was easy peazy - I just turned in my keys and received a printout of my payment. Later I received the 'how did we do?' e-mail which I am happy to say FIVE STARS across the board!!!"
