Originally built in the early 1900s and carefully restored, Kildahl House combines historic charm with modern comfort. Set on a hill overlooking downtown West Dundee, the home offers a comfortable and convenient stay within walking distance of local dining and attractions.



Kildahl House features four private one-bedroom suites, making it a flexible option for couples, business travelers, and guests attending weddings or events. Guests visiting nearby venues such as The BRIX on the Fox often reserve multiple suites for a convenient group stay.



Each suite offers a comfortable living area, king-size bed, full kitchen with modern appliances, and a spacious bathroom designed for relaxation.



Guests can enjoy shared outdoor areas including a wraparound porch and backyard seating, perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the area.



Access to the property includes a short set of exterior steps from the street to the front entrance. This suite is located on the second floor and requires one additional flight of interior stairs.

Entrance is on Second Street. Our remote lock system allows the convenience of a contactless check-in and check-out.

Kildahl House is centrally located in historic downtown West Dundee, a district listed on the National Register of Historic Places. You are just steps from local restaurants, bars, and entertainment.

We are also just a 2-minute drive from The BRIX on the Fox, making Kildahl House a convenient and comfortable option for wedding guests.

Other Things to Note:

Please note that due to the historic nature of the property, there is no elevator. Suites 1 and 2 are located on the first floor, while Suites 3 and 4 are on the second floor and require one flight of stairs.



Each suite is a fully private apartment with its own entrance.



We offer a 10% discount for 7-night stays and a 20% discount for stays of 30 nights or more.
