"Nice place to stay for a reasonable price. Our room was great and appeared newly renovated. Some amenities were not available due to remodeling, like the business center. Breakfast could use more variety instead of egg patties and sausage patties every day. Bacon or sausage links would be welcome. The parking lot could use a resurfacing, and potholes fixed in the entrance way where the Shoney's used to be. Staff was very nice throughout our 3-day stay."

"Property was a bit outdated. Elevators and halls could use some work. Room was clean, but definitely could’ve been more clean. Linens need a lot of work. Carpet was sticky if the room got humid, could definitely benefit from a shampoo. Very hard to prop up in bed with the pillows provided."

"Our room was not ready at check-in time, but they were very apologetic and we were able to get to our room about 20 minutes later. All of the staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Enjoyed the pool and breakfast. Clean and nice property. Very convenient location near Lexington Medical Center. There are also a lot of dining and shopping options nearby and reasonably priced gas."

"The bathroom was the thing most lacking. There was no counter space, no towel racks except a small one in front of the sink, toilet was very low and had no grab bars, and there was only one grab bar in the bathtub. Housekeeping services only every other day which would not have been a big problem if there had been room to dry towels and washcloths. We asked housekeeping for towels for the second night and they graciously gave us two extras. The clock was not set correctly and we could not figure out how to set it. There was very little room to move around in the room. Breakfast was okay but very little grits in the pan; sausage was kind of hard. On the good side, the bed was comfortable."

"The room itself was clean and beds comfortable. The room was quiet. But the lock mechanism on my door would intermittently work and I got locked out 3 times and had to get my room key reprogrammed. Then the key machines went down and the concierge was as helpful as he could be. This wasn’t his fault at all. By the time I got back in, it was way past my intended bedtime. Also I had a pool view room and the pool was, uh, green and full of algae. Not clean at all. Not good to look at. I had a clean room and a poor concierge who did his best, but this was a cluster f."
