We were just a short walk down from Colchester Castle and High Street, where we could find a wide range of pubs, restaurants, and shops. "We stayed for one night as a family of three. The staff were so nice from arrival to departure. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful and it was a happy and relaxed environment. We also found that the member of staff who greeted you when you were swimming was also a really happy, friendly man - these all made such an impact on our stay. I guess the only thing which would have made our stay better would have been a fridge in the room to keep our drinks cool - but the air conditioning was a dream! We would definitely stay again."

Beautiful location, building, good and comfy beds and good service"
