Independent in Wendover

"Decent hotel room, over priced but so are all the other casinos (same owners) casino stinks like cigarette smoke but not as bad as the other casinos in Wendover. "

"Loved our room clean, bed was comfortable, jacuzzi was very nice in our room we definitely used it. We missed breakfast. Staff were friendly, helpful. Casino clean"

"The Worst stay I had in at least past 5 years. Staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Pool was located on the other side of the hotel, so you have to walk through casino in swimming attire. Steak house was overpriced and quality of food was less than Waffle House. Ordered 2 steaks medium- one was served well done and other one was rare.. not sure how it’s even possible. Sides were scrubs from whatever they had left from service earlier. Apparently we made a mistake of coming in at 930 and restaurant was closing at 10… they rushed us through and we were finished by 10. It’s Frida night mind you..Front desk person was rude and couldn’t answer any questions. Room was dirty and dusty.. I did not see any point asking for it to be cleaned. We were little late leaving the room in a morning and they sent security… like trust me nobody was trying to stay there any longer than enough time to get our stuff out.. my arm got injured in the elevator on the way out because apparently if the door is closing, it’s closing regardless of any body parts in the way.. overall it was very uncomfortable experience from the beginning to the end. We were looking for a best place to stay one night on the way to Reno, because we had a child with us and wanted to be in a clean, safe environment… Rainbow is not it. And pictures on website must be very outdated.. I would give it -10 if I could."

"The hotel was ok, property was older, but you can see that they try. Room was fine, for the price. Bed was comfortable. I mean for the price, I think it's fine. Just stayed 1 night on passing through."

"DO NOT RECOMMEND. GHETTO AS CAN BE!! When we first checked in to our room, the key worked fine, we filled up our fridge with our drinks/snack and organized our travel clothes and toiletries. We left to the casino and returned to our room around 3am in which our room key no longer worker. We informed the front office, they gave us a new key, which did not work. The worker came to open our door with the master key, which still did not work. He mentioned that a lot of the times the property has these issues and we would not be able to get in to our room, THAT HAD OUR LUGGAGE AND EVERYTHING IN IT, until morning when the owner came. They did provide us a new room which was the same layout but did not have a fridge, the pillows are awful you’re literally sleeping on pancakes, the comforter had burn holes in them and tears. Why would there be burn holes in a NON SMOKING room. All in all it was a terrible stay. Especially not being able to have our clothes and toiletries that night until the owner came in the following day."
