The first thing we noticed upon arrival was how clean the cabin was. It was a wonderful little get away with my fiancée and our two pups. Definitely would go back!"

"This place really has it all! Check in was simple, and the place was extremely clean. If you're looking for something that doesn't have a bunch of other cabins near it, this is your place. We spent a lot of our time on the Hocking Hills trails and everything was in close proximity for that. Stores and restaurants can be a bit of a drive, but not bad (30 mins tops). The hot tub was great, and the shower was hot and had good pressure too! All in all a perfect place for a quiet getaway!"

"Overall, this was a very nice place to stay when visiting Hocking Hills. Very short trip to all the main trails. The cabin was clean and well maintained with new appliances. Everything worked great. The hot tub was clean and hot but did not have the most powerful jets. An extra propane tank for the grill was a nice surprise, tongs were provided but a metal spatula would have come in handy. I would call the location semi-private (definitely not secluded) as it's in part of a RV and cabin...

"Great place to relax after hiking the nearby trails. Beds were very comfortable, and kitchen had everything we needed. Hot tub was great and would fit 2-3 people comfortably. Only issue we had were some bees on the porch and the owner responded super fast and took care of it. This is a great location, quiet and peaceful."

"To start to say this place was great is an understatement! Was the perfect place for my wife and I’s first wedding anniversary. Check in and check out were very simple. The evenings and mornings were relaxing as could be with the location being very secluded. Cabin was very very clean and comfy all the way around. We look forward to making this a tradition and going back every year. I seen some negative comments leading up to our stay which is generally just a year say. To say those comments...

"The Sage Cabin was great for our 3 night visit to the area. Quiet, clean and pretty much perfect for our stay. Being pet friendly was a big plus. Cabin location was ideal for us as it was close to the amazing Hocking Hills State Park and only one hour from Serpent Mound in Peebles. We also enjoyed learning the details of the early 1800's history of the Adena Mansion in Chillicothe, about 30 minutes away. All places well worth the visit. Mark was a top host. We use VRBO a lot and he was a 10/10...

"We enjoy four of the surrounding lakes, Lake Hope, Fox Lake, Burr Oak lake, and Rose Lake. Rose Lake was the most serene, most beautiful, and most fishes caught even in the rain. We definitely will fish there again."

"We came to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. It was cozy and very clean."

"The cottage has been recently updated. The interior looks brand new. The electric fireplace was very nice. I didn't have time to explore the property, because I was there mostly at night. I would definitely stay there again. Cell service isn't great, but it is great if you want to get away from, the stresses from everyday life. Bring an extra blanket if you are there when it is cold outside."
