"What an absolute gem of a place. We stayed for one night to finish our vacation in the county, family of four with a teenager and 8 year old. We all loved the Lakeside Motel! The room was comfortable with everything we needed and nice modern decor. The pool area is amazing and the restaurant served great food with a beautiful view. We will definitely be back. "

"Great location and reasonable price with many walkable options for restaurants and shops. Had little interaction with the staff, likely due to COVID residuals that all communications were done online. Not sure if this was the common experience of others who recently stayed at this establishment (Sept 2024). Note that late check-out is charged at $50/hr in case anyone is wondering."

"This is a great spot. Quiet with easy private access to a beautiful large lake, fantastic sunsets. The chalet is simple but well equipped. It is easy to get around to PEC great spots like Sandbanks but you can also just have a great time at the chalet swimming, kayaking, relaxing on the deck and the dock or playing games around the fire (not to mention the Sauna). Great value."
