Loved our stay in this beautiful house, all the necessities are there for an easy stay. Lots of room both inside and out and the property was very private and quiet. Great spot!!
We appreciated the effort the hosts put in to ensure a great stay for our family. The cabin is clean, comfortable and well considered. The hosts were attentive and considerate. We loved the area and the location was great for families activities.
We chose this house for the ability to bring our dog and the proximity to the ESF Ranger School for spending time together before dropping our daughter off at school. The house was immaculate and so peaceful. The neighborhood is very quiet and we really enjoyed all of the sightseeing we did. Highly recommend!!
The cottage is lovely! It’s large and spacious with many cozy and comfy areas to relax. The location is very private and woodsy. Took many walks through the woods and down to the river. It was perfect!
Home is beautiful and even larger than the pictures portray. Very clean, nestled in a wooded area, but easy access to all Wellesley Island attractions. Great golfing less than one mile away, and a fun 9 hole course just 5 miles down the rode. The large living room with two large couches were perfect for evening family games of Pictionary and Trivial Pursuit. Large gas grill was great for prepping great summer dinners. I have rented several VRBO homes, and I have had the good fortune of very attentive homeowners, but none have been as quick to communicate as John. Excellent stay.
Everything was absolutely perfect!! We used the Weber gas grill for two nights and had a lovely dinner at the TI Club! Host let us check in a little bit early and that was very helpful. Can’t wait to go back next August!!!! Such a beautiful and peaceful cottage!
We had a wonderful time on Wellesley Island with The Rectory as our home base. There was plenty of space for three generations to gather and also to have their own space. We especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces - a beautiful, peaceful setting amongst the trees. The host responded quickly and helpfully to all our questions.
We loved everything about our stay at this home. There is a large kitchen, family, dining area on the first floor; bigger than the pictures indicate. The bedrooms are well furnished and the sleeping balcony was a hit for naps and rests during the week. The home was private, surrounded by trees, but in a walkable neighborhood. This is definitely the quieter side of Wellesley Island. It is a short drive to the Boldt Castle boathouse. John was friendly and answer our few questions quickly. Check in and out were quick and smooth.
