Set in the quiet countryside this was a very nice and comfortable hotel. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with a large variety of choices catering to both European and North American tastes. I dined there several times and had really good meals. It was a perfect starting point for my trips to various Bavarian destinations (Munich, Memmingen, Neuschwanstein, Rothenberg ob der Tauber, and Regensburg. For me, the only downside was that the bed was somewhat hard but that will depend on your preferences. Despite that downside, I extended my stay from one to six days.

Pragmatische Wahl einer Übernachtung auf dem Weg…

… nach Süden. Solide Unterkunft, die wir regelmäßig auf der Durchreise nach Italien nutzen. Im Verlauf der Jahre wurde wenig am Haus gemacht und es wirkt inzwischen etwas einfach und altbacken. Für eine Nacht ist das ganz okay.

Average hotel, great people

The room furniture is aging and one of our beds was creaking really intensively. Hotel offers dining service with traditional food, which means good, but not really healthy. Breakfast was good. All the people we met were very nice and represent the highest asset of the hotel. Hotel is good for overnight stay with or without children.

Immer wieder super Zwischenstopp auf dem Weg ...

... nach Süden! Topp: Lage, Freundlichkeit, Parkplatz und vor allem das besonders leckere Essen. Jetzt gibt es sogar Cambia-Biere. Luft nach oben haben die Betten (Besucherritze) und das Frühstück (etwas sparsam). Wir werden wiederkommen.
