Welcome to our vintage creek side mountain cottage! The most well loved cottage in Waynesville. The cabin sits on 2 acres with over 600' of creek and a vintage barn. We are located two miles from downtown Waynesville, NC, in a charming hollow in the Smoky Mountains.
Cross the creek, park the car and head for the porch to relax or to plan your day trips. The area offers multiple golf courses for the novice or pro, countless hiking trails at your feet, skiing in Cataloochee, shopping and dining. We are centrally located to give you access to North Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Asheville! The Blue Ridge Parkway awaits you or you can opt to visit one of three close national parks (Great Smokey Mountain, Pisgah, or Cherokee), Biltmore, America’s Castle, is a must see or visit The Grove Arcade. Haywood County is full of locally owned farmer's markets with locally grown seasonal foods and crafts.
The two bedrooms – one king and one queen - are fully fitted with fresh linens and an assortment of comfy pillows and blankets.
The bathroom has a full-size bathtub and shower. Towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash available for your stay.
We offer WiFi for those who choose to chill or those who squeeze in a little work while away.

We enjoyed staying at the cozy cabin and loved using the little electric fireplace in the evening. the kitchen was well equipped for cooking and making meals. Our dog didn't accompany us this time but would have loved it there as well. The host was super responsive to any questions we had which was very much appreciated.
We truly enjoyed our stay! The unit was beautiful, spotless, and very well maintained. Everything we could possibly need was provided, which made our visit comfortable and stress-free. We especially appreciated the thoughtful extra touches from the owners — coffee, sugar, creamers, snacks, and beverages were all waiting for us. These small details made us feel welcome and at home.We would be happy to return and highly recommend this property to others.
The cabin was right by a babbling brook. Sitting out on the front porch rockers was so peaceful. The location was great. Close to many attractions and restaurants.
We needed a respite from some major medical issues we’re battling, and wanted to enjoy some of the final fall mountain beauty. This super pet friendly creekside cabin was close and convenient to wonderful downtown Waynesville; the Greenway and numerous other parks; nearby Winchester Creek Alpaca Farm; Barber Orchard, and Lake Junaluska. Our stay was perfect in every way. The vintage, but tastefully updated cabin was roomy, but cozy; spotless and bright – with very comfortable living room furniture and the best king bed with wonderful linens! The park-like setting provided a secluded feel; and the large deck (with child/pet gates and comfortable seating) overlooked the sweetly babbling stream. We especially enjoyed cooking most of our meals in the spacious and wonderfully equipped/stocked kitchen. It was very hard to leave and we can’t wait to return! Most of all, we can’t thank enough, Tammy and Scott. Their guest service commitment was obvious from our 1st inquiry and throughout our stay. They have well-earned their Premier Host designation!
We had a wonderful stay. The Cottage had everything we needed. It was clean and quiet. Comfy beds. A great front porch with a stream running through the front yard. It was close to everything and just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Great home for a quite romantic get away. House has everything you need and is very homie. Wonderful porch where you can sit and enjoy the sound of the creek. Short drive into Waynesville downtown.
Wonderful location and a really cute little cottage. Very comfortable. The property manager was absolutely fantastic and went out of her way to be helpful. We had a bit of an emergency while we were there and she stepped in and Helped us salvage the rest of our trip. We will definitely be back.
Terrific weekend in the Waynesville area with an old college roommate from Chicago. We enjoy the area, had great food and played 4 wonderful golf courses all within 30 miles. The cottage was very cozy and the owners were very responsive. My only suggestion would be to slightly upgrade the TV offerings beyond YouTube so that college football fanatics like us have all the game choices. Otherwise it was a beautiful setting, the beds were extremely comfortable and I hope to come back in the future.
Another good time was had another good time was had!
This was our second time staying here so that should tell the story about our satisfaction. A nice little cabin with country appeal and very clean upon arrival. Cathy, the owner, always communicates promptly if there are any concerns and I very cordial. She has done a fabulous job of stocking the place with any amenities that you may have forgotten. Cabin is very convenient to groceries and other shopping and restaurants with Hazelwood being only 5 to 10 minutes away. The Fall colors are beautiful in the area in October so give this place a try!
As the Terminator once stated...I'll Be Back!!!!!
We love this cabin! The location, the thoughtful amenities provided, the charm, the creek and the comfort of a home away from home. They’ve thought of everything! The porch sitting was excellent, providing sightings of hummingbirds, cardinals and other birds plus a beautiful doe strolled through the yard! Downtown Waynesville is minutes away. We explored wild flower farms, an Alpaca farm with other unique animals including a “banded cow” like you see in coastal Maine. Fresh produce and Apple fritters at Barbers Orchards! Lots of side trips within an hour away. A most excellent adventure! We’ll be back.
The place was very nice. It was clean, which is very important to me. What first caught my eye to book was the creek- which was amazing. You can sit on the large beautiful, and comfortable porch and hear it. It’s so relaxing. The home was fantastically equipped with convenient things (such as in the kitchen) that you have at home but would miss traveling if you don’t have them. Cathy was wonderful! She answered my questions lightning fast and was so very nice. She knew I was nervous driving in a mountainous area (I’m from Florida), and she assured me there weren’t any hazardous roads that would be dangerous to navigate at night when not familiar with the area. She actually texted me to make sure we’d arrived safely. She was very, very kind. I stayed with my husband and my two young children (10 and 7). They loved it here, especially playing outside by the creek. It was a wonderful experience and we had a fantastic time. Also, everything is nearby! There’s a Walmart literally 5 minutes away. There’s a Publix nearby. You feel like you’re away from the city but you have those conveniences close by.
You won’t regret staying here. Cathy, thank you for all of your help and the wonderful stay. We would stay here again!
This is a charming “updated” 40’s farmhouse. It’s very well stocked and furnished and clean. We respect and appreciate the history of this home as well as the caretakers and owners along the way. It’s close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, which was important to us on this vacation. We really enjoyed the outdoor sitting area and the sound of the water trickling down the stream. Couldn’t ask for a better place. Would not hesitate to return.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Owners/managers were easy to deal with and this property was exactly how we pictured it! Loved it and would highly recommend!
