The hostess Denise was very nice! We felt very welcome and everything was nice and clean! We had plenty room to walk out dog Hank! Hikking trails were not far away!
Denise and Larry were so hospitable and really went the extra mile to make our stay great - from tips on where to eat and visit, ongoing communication, welcoming us on arrival, the amenities and most those extra little touches that we really appreciated. It’s a cozy cabin with everything we needed for our stay, it’s thoughtfully put together and has lots of character. It’s in a great spot with a variety of choice for places to visit - or you can just hang out on the porch and enjoy the trees and wildlife on the doorstep.
Cozy stay with amazing surroundings! The space was beautifully decorated and comfortable. The hot tub was relaxing. I loved sitting on the covered porch. Would stay again!

This property was very quiet and surrounded by woods. The hot tub was a nice perk. The people who own live on site in a separate part. You get the entire first floor suite to yourself and Denise is very helpful with any questions you may have. It really was like a little home away from home. The bed and pull out are comfy.
My partner and I had the best experience in this cozy space. It was even cuter than we anticipated and the location is an ideal mountain escape, yet close to the interstate (and a short drive to neighboring towns). Denise was amazingly accommodating and even surprised us with a sweet cake since we stayed during Valentine’s day. Very beyond satisfied with our experience and looking forward to staying again in the future.
Cozy, clean and comfy space. Incredibly thoughtful and welcoming hosts. Great location with short drives to many great hiking opportunities and views. A quick drive over to Asheville as well. Many delicious restaurants in the area as well.
Loved the coziness of the wood stove and hot tub. Comfortable bed, easy check out. Kitchen is best for takeout and preparing light meals, overall a very nice and relaxing getaway.
We stayed here for a weekend getaway. The area is absolutely beautiful! The apartment is the ground level of the owner’s home. It was very clean and decorated for comfort. It has a kitchenette (with everything needed), a spacious living room (with a wood burning stove), master bedroom, and large bathroom. There is also a very lovely hot tub and fire pit. They had brownies waiting for us on arrival. The owners are very friendly and communicative. Definitely recommend checking out this property.
We had an amazing summer break at the mountains for 6 days early August. The house is great and has everything you need to enjoy your visit. Both Larry and Denise are very kind, helpful and take care of any issues. I highly recommend this house and will be back for sure.
The cabin was exactly as it was advertised. Denise and Larry were amazing and there to help if we needed anything. My best friend and I went and had a wonderful stay and the hot tub was an added bonus. We visited just after a hurricane hit the area and even then we were welcomed with kindness and hospitality. I would recommend this for anyone wanting to visit the area!
