The pool was not operational....this is a major issue when our grandson travels with us. I was not told when reserving or upon arrival so we could've moved to a different place. Very disappointed in communication.

The room I was in was not clean the ac/heating unit was falling out of the wall and some plywood was trying to hold it up. There was outside air coming in and ice around it. The whole place just looks like it’s falling apart.

Room needed to be dusted, continental breakfast was a joke. Dirty and no plates or napkins. Staff was never at counter. When asking about plates for breakfast was told they were out and no manners

Coffee pots in rooms are full size, which was great and the beds were comfortable. Continental breakfast was fair at best and not open everyday, without notice. So most days you have to go outside of the hotel to get breakfast. Staff was nice, but very hard to get ahold of. I rang the front desk bell, waited over 10 min no one showed up; more than a couple times. Also, tried multiple times to call with no answer. Pool is open at random times. One day it was open at 1 pm & closed by 6 pm, other days it was closed all together with no signage or explanation. If you appreciate you alone time & are self sufficient it would be ok. Walmart next door.

Check in was very smooth, less than a few minutes and I was given the key cards. The lobby was clean, friendly staff, and convenient parking. I would stay again, the "breakfast" was enough to get you started, but nothing to plan as a meal. Morning coffee wasn't made until 7am, and wasn't very strong at all... Kwik Trip was a 2 minute walk away. Maintenance needs to go through the rooms and check everything they have in the rooms. We had a sink that drained like molasses was in it, the bathroom vent fan was on, but made no air movement, and new edging on the walls were needed. But I have to admit, our stay was comfortable and quiet, bedding was soft top but firm, ample pillows, and curtains blocked almost all the light from the outside. Easy access to food, shopping, and the Highway. Creature comforts were at the minimum, but it was enough to keep us clean, safe, and comfortable.

No one at the front desk on arrival. Had to call the phone number to get a clerk. Rooms were old and tattered. Breakfast was minimal. Never could get anyone to check out with. Buzzed the beeper at the desk and still no one. Departed without checking out. Even for the price, this property could use lots of significant corrections.

Booked a family trip on a holiday weekend expecting continental breakfast like it said on the amenities and there was a some corn flakes, loaf of bread and grape jelly, no coffee, milk, or juice. The waffle batter was completely empty (came down early for breakfast too so it isn’t like they just went through that much over the morning). Unfortunately with it being Labor Day weekend there wasn’t any local breakfast diners open, there is a McDonald’s but that isn’t our cup of tea. So the amenities not all being met from what they claimed was disappointing however the hotel seemed fairly clean. The pool was a bit dirty/cold but the hot tub was very nice. With it being a smaller hotel Parking/getting to your room is fairly easy/close however being a 2 story there is no elevator so if you have mobility issues or back heavy luggage be aware when booking and try to get a first floor room.

Employees were friendly and eager to help. My real only criticism is that the motel is showing its age and run down. The television was frustrating as access to local channels was not an option and I am not a fan of RUKU. The price was excellent and met our needs.

They beat on your door in the morning, The house keeping team wants you out and gone ASP. When I pay for a room. I should be allowed to stay in it for more than a few hours.It was a great place to stay. It is not now. They seem to hate the people that pay to stay there now. Where have the owners gone? goon? ger s posable.

The property and the room was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was minimal. The waffle iron was DISGUSTING! Looked like it had been dipped in asphalt tar. Thought about calling the health department on the spot but did not.

The property was very clean and the room was updated and maintained. The main complaint we had was the water in the shower. We traveled on motorcycles from Chicago and had to take lukewarm to cold showers 2 days in a row while we were there. We complained the first day shortly after check-in and nothing was done about it. The first morning It was again cold and we complained again & did not return to very late.The second Morning we woke up early looking forward to a hot shower after a long day of riding motorcycles in the area and again had to take a cold shower. We had an issue with our key cards when we returned late at night and had to have the receptionist rekey cards. Breakfast was included, however it was more of a continental breakfast, We ended up going somewhere else to eat. This hotel looked very nice according to the website and the booking website which is why we chose it. All of the pictures and descriptions were very deceiving. We would have paid more money or extra. it wasn't about the cost. The shower issue was a huge disappointment and the reason we will not return to this hotel nor give it a good rating.
