"Unfortunately I am not able to review Dil Lanka Safari Resort, because when we arrived, the manager was very surprised to see us and said that he had no booking from us (three people, two rooms). Ultimately it was resolved (with help from our Sri Lankan driver) and we were given our money back (booking was prepaid). The grounds looked nice, so you could take your chances, but make sure you do nót prepay your reservation."

"The welcome at the Sihilro Regency is second to none. We felt almost like family. The home cooked food offered is really fantastic, exceeding the standard in most of the hotels we stayed in. Arriving over the new year weekend, we were slightly concerned that onward travel would be difficult but they helped us find a taxi at a very reasonable price. We also used their in house Safari and the driver / guide was brilliant. Highly recommended."

"It was the most amazing experience! I love the staff very friendly and kind. Help me with everything. Front house Sampath, dumindu and sithijaya , sahan, gayantha, Rukshan are awesome, Gave me the best service they could. Foods are delicious 😋, pool was clean and easy access. "Amazing experience with safari booked via this stay. The hotel is located in the jungle of udawalawe and the hosts were absolutely lovely. A lot of food options just ten minutes walk as well. Only issue was the chanting on a megaphone which was very loud which started at 4am until 6am and monkeys jumping up and down and running across the roof so I didn’t manage to get much sleep!"

"Very clean room.Lovely pool. The hotel is out of the way near the river. We loved the tranquil setting. Apart from our safari trip (which was arranged by the owner) we didn’t leave the hotel, which suited us because the food provided at the hotel is delicious. The only negative thing I would say is they could do with upgrading the recliners by the pool. "
