Wattle Grove Hideaway by Tiny Away is tucked away in peaceful Wattle Grove, just 10 minutes from the village, Cygnet, where you’ll find local cafés, deli shops, and scenic waterfront walks. What’s more, the tiny house is close to quiet, untouched beaches like Drip Beach and Randals Beach, perfect for easy coastal walks and fresh sea air. It feels nicely tucked away, yet you’re only 40 minutes from Hobart, MONA, Willie Smith’s, and The Lost Captain.



There are great local wineries nearby, including Kate Hill and Else Wine, plus standout spots to eat like Fat Pig and Peppermint Bay. In Cygnet, locals love Red Velvet Lounge and The Old Bank Café—easy favourites for a laid-back meal.



This 139-square-foot tiny home is totally private and immersed in nature, with abundant birdlife all around. It features easy access to water, split-system air conditioning, a kitchenette with cooking equipment, and full bathroom facilities. These include an eco-friendly compost toilet with a removable waste tank, a hand basin, and a gas-heated shower—making it a comfortable and relaxing holiday escape.

Guests can access the tiny home and its surroundings, apart from the top area which is restricted.

Wattle Grove Hideaway by Tiny Away is located in Wattle Grove, just 10 minutes from Cygnet’s cafés, shops, and scenic waterfront walks. While it feels wonderfully secluded and close to Drip Beach and Randals Beach, it is still only 40 minutes from Hobart and MONA, with nearby wineries, great restaurants, and relaxed local favourites in Cygnet.



In addition, sightseeing in the area includes the world-class MONA Art Museum in Hobart, Willie Smith’s Cider Centre and Hill’s Winery in Huonville, as well as beautiful natural spots like Randals Beach and Drip Beach, perfect for easy coastal walks and seaside views.

- Make sure to turn off the lights, AC, electronics, close windows and doors when leaving

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the compost toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests.
