Excellent place to stay to enjoy downtown Watkins Glen and surrounding wineries. Walk to restaurants and Watkins Glen State Park. Lots of stairs but great area to gather with friends and family. Wouldn't recommend for small children or elderly that can't do stairs but was perfect for our group! Beautiful views!

Very clean well-maintained property. Beautiful view. Loved being so close to town that we could walk everywhere in Watkins Glen. We would definitely stay there again if visiting Finger Lakes area. Would just suggest listing should include that there are steep staircases from bedrooms up to kitchen.

Really enjoyed out stay at the property. Very clean, very convenient. Parking was easy. Nice patio and bbq setup available for outdoor dining. Lots of stairs so be prepared for a bit of exercise. Overall, great stay!

Great Location

The Painted Rock was a perfect place for our women’s getaway. The location was great with close proximity to wineries, breweries, and distilleries as well as a local creamery. We were also able to walk to restaurants near by. Our accommodations were very nice with comfortable beds and cozy blankets. The view overlooking the lake was an added bonus and the host was very accessible. We would definitely book the Painted Rock for our next stay!
