The hot tub was relaxing, the fireplace was warm. It was wonderful.

The breakfast was really good and in a good location. When we got into our room, it did not appear housekeeping had been done. There was a used bar soap and shampoo in the shower, the wrapper to the soap was on the floor of the bathroom, there were doritos on the floor next to the bed and a jelly bean on the other side of the bed. They also didn't replace the soap or the shampoo that was in the shower.

There was food and an empty Gatorade bottle under a bed (we weren’t looking, just couldn’t miss it). 150 people checked out before we checked in, but with six hours to do it right, it should have been done right.

Price was iffy but less than others. Busy weekend for the hotel and city. One staff person, fairly overwhelmed in my opinion. No towels in the pool area. Used to be a small bar but they let the liquor license expire, used to be a hot tub and they filled it in so no longer available.

The guy working on 12/30 was fantastic. He was alone and had to do everything. He deserves a raise!! Really felt empathy for him. Great job!!

We enjoyed the foyer. It had a lodge style appeal with plenty of comfortable sitting room. The room was clean. The front desk was prompt & courteous. There were with several issues with the amenities. The sliding bolt was broken off the room door, and the bathroom door handle was nearly wrenched off on the inside. It was almost impossible to lock it. The beds sloped to the center, and noise from the hall easily filtered right in. No fan in the bathroom. No trash can in the bathroom. The coffeemaker was out of service downstairs, and the only option was the tiny one-cup coffeemaker in the room, with powdered cream packets. The “bar” is small and sad with stark seating. The hot tub/spa was cemented in. Just a pool. We paid more to stay here because we thought it would be a bit more upscale than the super 8 or suburban suites. Didn’t appear to be so.

I didn't get a chance to stay. My car broke down two hours away and I had to cancel. Even though I had insurance, I'm having problems finding where to get my refund.

We reserved 2 rooms and upon entering one of the rooms, it had never gotten cleaned after the previous guest. There were towels on the bathroom floor and the beds were not made. Luckily the person at the desk was helpful and they moved us to a different room. The other room had obviously not been vacuumed as there was paper and a piece of candy on the carpet and there was hair and paper on the bathroom floor. The facet was barely attached to the sink, 2 outlets did not work and the main light switch to the room did not work. We stayed at this same hotel 6 months prior and conditions were much better then.

I thought it was misleading that they said they had a hot tub. It was covered up with a flooring and had not been working for months. No clock in the swimming area to be able to tell time. Carpet area in lobby had holes in it. The drawers of the dresser half worked. The service was great, but it appears they were short staffed. Complimentary breakfast was good.

There is no elevator which I find to be very strange. We can’t use a cart to get to our room that is on the 2nd floor. I understand that our room has to be on the 2nd floor but I can’t believe no elevator. Also, hotel is just dumpy. Bare minimum. A tiny soap bar in the bathroom.

Staff was very helpful. Lost my cell phone. Room phone was dirty and didn’t work. But front desk let me use her cell phone. Breakfast looked good but I had other plans. Convenient to UNI. Prefer the Holiday Inn but very nice alternative for the price.

This was a great spot for a mini college reunion! I was disappointed that the times for breakfast were never shared with me at check in and that breakfast ends at 9; that is simply too early, especially on weekends. Overall the room was very clean, beds were so comfortable, and the area quiet!

The drain pipe under the sink was disconnected so water went all over the floor. We asked twice to have it fixed and no one came. We caught the water with the garbage can. There were crumbs and four dirty socks under the bed and a blood stain on the comforter.
