"Hotel staff were exceptional! Greeted warmly every time we were in reception and extremely helpful! Special shout out to the concierge Lek who was absolutely lovely! Breakfast was a little busy and therefore presentation was little sloppy at times. Pool area was too crowded for us so didn’t use it.. probably wouldn’t stay here again despite wonderful staff"

"The property is lovely and well maintained, but a few areas could use a touch up Patios were not cleaned but still very enjoyable. All staff was kind, but the check in staff at the front desk were a bit rude. Kindness and a smile go a long way! That's what we appreciated about the cleaning and bar staff. "Beautiful tranquil location off the beaten track. Basic sleeping hut and bathroom but that’s the charm in coming here. Run by the wonderfully attentive ladies with food prepared and cooked to order. Relax, read, swim and chill. "

"From we arrived you could the quality of The Sands, it's beautifully laid out with manicured lawns, water features and a large fish pond. We had a swim up room which was large, clean and very comfortable, the only downside of the room was that the terrace was in the shade for the majority of the day, if you want one of these rooms request one that has sun most of the day. The site is almost split in two with quieter side that had an adult only pool and family pool with bar, then the other side has a mini water park for the kids with a number slides, fun water play and a lazy river. At breakfast there's a great choice catering to all nationalities and tastes, we didn't eat at the hotel at night but speaking to people who had it sounded very good. The staff are fantastic, always polite and friendly, nothing is to much trouble. Whether you want a family holiday, with plenty to entertain the kids, or a restful time from work or touring Thailand then The Sands is a great choice "
