"This was our "treat yourself" hotel and our expectations were higher in terms of the room itself. The "garden view" rooms are not really views of a garden, but rather a cement wall and rooftops with a couple trees planted. That said, the view of the mountains afar was pretty. The room was also far smaller than I expected for the price. We stayed in a lot of hotels during our trip and every room in 3/4 star hotels was larger and more comfortable. "Room had many large bugs and geckos, including the biggest cockroach! When we told the staff, they just offered to kill the insects, and didn’t offer for us to switch rooms or any other services. The place feels run down. The shower is in the same area as the toilet with nothing separating them, so the toilet gets wet when you shower. One big perk is free drinking water."
