"Everything was good, but the room had an odor as you walked in the door. It seemed to dissipate once you were in the room for a while. We stayed for three days and it was the same every day. We did not say anything to the staff. It was also confusing as we thought we were staying in old town. It would be helpful and much less confusing if you took old town off the name of the hotel. Traffic was horrible driving from old town to Richmond Street."

"This hotel was very nice. It looks a little shifty on the outside as if it may not be nice (dirty looking windows and blinds looking outside in). We were pleasantly surprised. The staff was nice. Our rooms were clean and the air worked well to keep us cool during the night. The breakfast was great, bacon, eggs, toast, pancakes etc. The only issue we had was WiFi connection, it was a bit spotty. Other than that, I would recommend!"

"The location and convenience of this little house was beyond expectations! So close to “everything” you could want (restaurants, shopping, hospital, fire department, etc). - literally a great location. And specifically for our purposes - the train station into DC is sooo close! The house is adorable and was the perfect size for our small family group. We spent very little time in the house as we had a full DC itinerary. Even though we did not use the kitchen - it was very well equipped; as were the bathrooms and bedrooms - we didn’t find anything missing!!!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The layout of the unit is great! The living space and kitchen are right together and the bath and sleeping areas are down the little hallway, making it feel more like an apartment than a hotel. Janel, the on-site Manager was so friendly and helpful. We really liked that the entrances to the quad area where you enter your rooms were all secured - it felt safe. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Overall a great house for a large family. Plenty of bedrooms and private baths. We stayed with three couples ranging from early 40s to mid 70s and a few single people over 35 as well one teen. The only improvement I would suggest is putting more traditional seating in the house. The TV room, where my family tends to gather late at night, didn't have chairs. My parents can't sit on the floor, and I would suspect many older visiters would have similar challenges. We had to move chairs from the well-appointed living room (that didn't have a TV). We did find it a somewhat disconcerting that the owner pops in an out of the basement office without warning. This was a little taxing on nerves of a few family members.Owner was very responsive to a few issues we had with the house which we appreciated. We would stay there again."
