Although still doing renovations, the hotel was clean and quite quiet. The staff was excellent, especially our wonderful bartender, Mek. Our room was very spacious and beautiful. I would definitely recommend this hotel which was in a very good location.

This was my second stay at the Kimpton Banneker, and it will always be my go-to hotel in DC. The location is great, as is their pet-friendly policy. My room was beautiful and well-maintained throughout my stay. Breakfast staff were especially nice, and the whole ambiance is uplifting. Happy hour is a definite plus!

Had some trouble on check in and the staff were amazing! I checked in with my son with a boatload of luggage from our truck and the valet loaded everything for us! We were also late arriving and the restaurant downstairs was closing in 20 mins and without any trouble they happily served us a full meal drinks and dessert! We love the staff! the hotel is boutique so smaller than most Kimptons but perfect for couples and weekend warriors! highly recommended! ps they have a HUGE selection of snacks and wines!

Lovely hotel and absolutely a wonderful stay! The staff was so courteous and pleasant and surprisingly enough the neighborhood is actually pretty quiet for it to be a metropolitan area! We stayed when it was the Kimpton Rouge as well, both stays equally as great! We love the Kimpton brand!!!

We love a hotel that is pet friendly; especially in our case; enabling our cat to travel with us. My husband & I got a king size bed unit; room was ultra spacious. Wish each of us had an end table, vs me having to put stuff on the move or move a chair over. The shower water pressure was super low; bad. Valet parking was easy. Great/helpful staff. Restaurant menu (dinner) was not very appealing to us; but easy enough to go out nearby. Would staff here again.
