Abysmal check-in. They said that they would email me prior to the stay, but they didn't. I didn't notice since I was busy preparing for my trip. So I get to the apartment, the concierge can't help me, and I'm left frantically searching my email and the portal for anything useful. I found a few phone numbers, and I finally call one that gets a fast response from a live person. After some back-and-forth, I finally get the key locker code so I can get in the room. Not a good start to my stay.
After getting in the room, I need to call again to get the code for the locker containing the parking pass and hangtag (I paid for parking earlier), as it's time-sensitive. Fair enough.
The apartment itself is pretty much as advertised, but the A/C blew cold air despite being set to Heat (the day had a high of 61* and lows in the low 50s, not ideal for traveling with aged parents from Florida in mid-May). Turns out that the A/C is controlled by the building, so the solution was to turn it off and run a (provided) space heater. Which I didn't know until - you guessed it - I called again.
Also, it seems that pretty much all of the power outlets in the apartment are extremely finicky, and I needed to jiggle every cable I plugged in to get it to connect. We also knocked off the wifi by bumping the router power cable by accident.
I don't mean to sound so negative, and we did have a pretty pleasant stay there - eventually.
