Full access to the basement apartment with parking pad. Parking pad is located right outside the front door to the home. Wheelchair assessable, only one step up to get into the apartment.

Deanwood’s main thoroughfares are Nannie Helen Burroughs and Sheriff Road. The Burroughs Road is named after late 19th and early 20th century Black, civil rights activist Nannie Helen Burroughs who had her nationally-known National Training School for Girls and Women in the neighborhood. The neighborhood is both metro friendly (15-20 minute walk to three different metro lines, Deanwood, Benning Road, Minnesota Ave). There is a bus-line across the street from the building as well. It also boasts a 15 minute drive to all major attractions in DC (Nationals Stadium, Capital 1 Arena, FedEx Field, monuments and museums, high end dining), National Harbor, Old Town Alexandria, Pentagon City.
This is a newly gentrified area, please get familiar with your surroundings but taking a look at the Metor Police Crime Map (remove spaces to use link):

There is one assigned parking space outside the home and unmetered street parking on the main thoroughfares. DO NOT PARK EXTRA CARS IN THE `PARKING LOT` IN THE BACK OF THE TOWNHOME BLOCK, it will be towed.
Metro is a very easy system and comes regularly and quickly.

There is an actively recording camera overlooking the rear of the home. All cameras are on the exterior of the property

-If any damages occur, please let me know so we can resolve it prior to the next guest checking in.
-Please be sure to hold onto the handrails and do not let children play on the stairs (for their safety)
-Never give the door code to anyone besides authorized guests. (Authorized guests are up to 4 guests specifically named during booking).
-No unauthorized guests can stay overnight in the unit.
- Be sure all lights, fans, stove, television,heaters and taps/faucets are off each time you exit the unit. Let’s all work together to conserve energy and our natural resources!
-When leaving please ensure that the blinds are closed, soiled sheets and towels are on the floor, and trash is placed in the trash can.
