Upon entering the home, you'll step into the kitchen area, with the peaceful and cozy living room space in the backdrop. It features a smart TV to stream your favorite movies and shows on Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, etc. The living room, kitchen and dining area are all on the main floor. The beautiful dining area is perfectly situated between the kitchen and living room area, an inviting space for your entire group to engage in intriguing conversations, gather, dine-in and wine-down. The dining room features a glass table with seating for six.
With Whole Foods less than 10 minutes walk and a kitchen that is fully-stocked, you have access to everything you'll need to make and enjoy meals at home. The kitchen also has a door leading to the outdoor space with seating.

1. I use smart technology in my home - smart locks, smart thermostat, smart TVs, smart smoke detectors and many more. Home is equipped with a smart lock. Access to the property requires using the August Home mobile application. There is no physical key access or keypad access. Home must be accessed via the August mobile app.
2. Health and safety is our top priority! A professional, thorough cleaning and sanitizing process is conducted between guests. Everything from the refrigerator to the remote controls and light switches are cleaned and sanitized. Due to this lengthy cleaning process, late check-outs or early check-ins are extremely difficult to accommodate.
3. Please remember that you're staying in a private residence, not a hotel. Please treat our home with the same respect you would your home. If any problems arise, I will do my best to take action ASAP.
4. The entire city of Alexandria is a pet-friendly community and you may run into other neighbors’ pets during your stay.
5. The bathrooms and all bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor. One must climb stairs to the reach the 2nd level (see picture).
6. Please note that while I do offer an EV charging outlet, I do not provide the charging cable. Most EV owners typically bring their own, as it's part of their vehicle's equipment.
7. Please make yourself at home and enjoy your stay :)
8. **My neighbor’s property is currently undergoing construction during standard daytime hours (8 AM to 5 PM) until mid-June. If you plan to work from home during your stay, please be prepared for construction noise from next door. However, if your plans include exploring Alexandria and DC during the day, the noise should be less noticeable. I appreciate your understanding and am here to address any questions or concerns you may have about your stay.**

If you are visiting DC and looking for a place to stay RENT THIS PROPERTY! The description is spot on. A short (10 minutes?) walk to the Metro allowed our 2 cars to stay parked all week. King street is also a short walk and there you will find all the food choices you might want and all of the ones we visited were fantastic. We returned on the Metro around 10 PM one night and felt safe the entire walk - a very walkable area. Communication with the host could not be better. We would stay here again without hesitation. If you are going into DC the Metro is extremely convenient and this property is where you should stay!
Wow! Just wow! Incredible from start to finish. We were a family of 5 adults that reserved this charming townhouse for our Christmas holiday. It was perfect with those extra special touches you rarely find like small canisters of coffee, plush bathrobes and slippers! No detail was overlooked, and the level of cleanliness from top to bottom was another way we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Our host was one of the most responsive we have ever had. He was completely available to us via text and email, and would respond to questions within minutes. If you could rate a host, he would get 5 stars. He went so far as to leave us a nice bottle of wine and a welcome note. In all our time as VRBO renters, no one has ever done that. The property is close to everything! Even though we had off street parking, we did not need to use our cars for any reason. We could walk to a grocery store (Whole Foods) and a drug store (CVS) as well as two fabulous family-style diners -- Table Talk and Executive. There are, of course, more just a little further away. We also got to enjoy the convenience of being two blocks off the famous and lovely King Street where a variety of shopping and great restaurants abound. Even though we were so close to the bustle, it was a quiet and friendly neighborhood.This is the absolutely best VRBO experience we have ever had, including the cleanest, and we would so rent here again. Kudos to the owner!
Just off of King Street and near all the best of Old Town. This house has plenty of space in a premier location. It was clean and well stocked and we had a great time using this as our base for touring around. Plus the back yard was so relaxing for coffee in the morning and drinks at night. We would definitely come back.
