Stayed 1 night here, hotel had a nice vibe, however, we had a lot of issues. Check in was fine, but 1 of 2 elevators was broken. We went out and returned late, and our key didn’t work. Went downstairs, and the front desk did not know why and it took several minutes to get a working key. At this point I was exhausted and just wanted to get in my room. At 9:11a housekeeping tried several times to open my door without knocking, while we were sleeping. Luckily I used the security latch on the door. Horrible experience .

The stay was short and environment suitable. Though no room service or free meal (not even breakfast). I would think twice about staying in a hotel with no real amenities to my liking. For a short stay it was okay.

We had a great room and the staff were very accommodating. The only reason we didn't rate it with 5 stars is because the HVAC system was very noisy as well as the refrigerator. We fixed the fridge noise by unplugging it.

Aloft should be renamed Aloof
Plane delayed. No shuttle. Tried to call hotel No answer after letting phone ring 20 min. Called National number spoke with representative who also could not reach hotel. Took an $30 Uber to hotel after waiting in the cold at Dulles 30-40 min. Receptionist stated didn’t hear phone ring as there was a loud part in lobby Room had trash left from previous guest

Bathroom door was not closing and when we asked them to repair it they didn’t bother to do it.it was very uncomfortable so we had to check in to another hotel within a day

I had a reservation scheduled 5 days earlier for a king bed and was told sorry none available. This is at 415 pm when check in is either 3 or 4 pm.. when asked what he was going to do about it….He said there’s nothing I can do….sorry…

Paying to park seems excessive given cost to stay. Shuttle is generally great. On this trip we were told upon arrival at the airport and pick up to return to our car, we had to wait for the shuttle. It wouldn’t be leaving until later. Perhaps short staffed or only one shuttle. In retrospect we should have just bummed a ride from the neighboring Hilton shuttle instead of doing what we thought was the right thing to do by asking if we could ride the Hilton Shuttle even though we had stayed at Aloft. The Hilton driver said NOPE they are separate. We ended up using a transportation network instead. You build into the price of a stay these amenities but if quests don’t use them it impacts value of experience.

I booked my stay and when I went to check in at 9pm, I was told they did not have a room for me so I had no place to go. And the woman behind the desk was so casual about it. Didn't even feel bad one bit. A little caring would go along way!

I absolutely loved this hotel and want to come back. It’s clean, check in was a breeze and the staff was so pleasant and helpful. Beds were 10/10 comfortable and clean and the room was very spacious and beautiful. Just what I needed.

I was disappointed with the weak WiFi and their offer to have good ( normal) WiFi for an extra $5.00). Simple breakfast items in the lobby were overpriced. It left the feeling they were taking advantage of you. Room itself was nice, beds very comfortable.
