We enjoyed our stay at this comfortable place. Clean, cozy and checked all of our boxes. It was better than a hotel and much easier. It is in a gated community for some peace of mind. It is great for a weekend getaway since you are close to Seaside and Astoria. There was plenty to do with so many option near by and it wasn't even summer time.

The Ocean Delight is a very cozy place to stay for one or two adults. Very clean/newer unit with everything you need. Safe gated community which is great to walk around and/or walk to the beach. Fairly close to restaurants, shops and, entertainment too.

Comfortable with an ocean view

The apartment is above the garage at the owner’s beach home. Very clean and decorated nicely. It was close enough to Astoria, but far enough away that it was quiet in the evening, away from the crowds. We enjoyed our stay!

We loved the layout of this studio apartment. Everything is so new and up to date. We couldn't get over the full size fridge, full size washer and dryer, nice TV area, and functional kitchenette area. Great location in gated community with ocean view! We really enjoyed our stay.

Quaint and quiet!

This is a terrific place to sit and read inside or on the deck overlooking the ocean view. Just under a 1/2 mile walk to beach access that is so peaceful and people are sparse. There is one flight of stairs to enter the upstairs apartment so plan ahead.

Ocean Delight was Just Right

Loved the neighborhood and this nicely appointed studio. It was perfect for what we needed…full size fridge, micro wave, toaster oven and sink were adequate for our breakfast meals. The walk to the beach was an easy 1/2 mile. Neighborhood was quiet. Washer and dryer were a bonus. Could use a couple of new chairs on the deck.

Great time at the beach

We went for a few days to get away and relax. This property was perfect for the two of us and well equipped, it had a full size apartment size refrigerator with an ice maker. I was a bit of a walk to get to the beach, but there is a nice long stretch of private beach to walk on. The view from the balcony was very nice. If you open the slider and one of the window you get a nice cross breeze. It is located in a quiet community nicely located between Seaside and Astoria. The community is nice for walking.

Between two cities.

The location between Sea side and Astoria was quite convenient for reaching both pretty quickly. From the photos we thought it was a ground floor unit but found it to be up a very narrow flight of stairs. The open staircase was a bit dangerous so you had to really pay attention when walking around. There were curtains on the bedroom area windows but not the type that close. So when the sun comes up, you will be up! Not a close walk to the beach but a nice view.

Decent place. HORRIFIC property management

The place was quaint and mostly comfortable. The property management was terrible. Awful. It took hours to get responses. The property manager knew nothing about the property. I will never stay at a vacasa-managed property again. Two omissions from the listing were a big deal. First, there’s no information about the nature of the unit (it’s a shared property with the owner). We felt uncomfortable when other people arrived as we weren’t told anyone else would/could be there. Second, the listing doesn’t call out the lack of a/c - the studio was soooo hot during the day and we could do nothing to cool it down. Lots of potential if the owners switch property managers!

Ocean Delight Home in Warrenton

This was a perfect spot for our 8 day stay/honeymoon. We loved the more remote location, the view of the ocean from our balcony where we could sleep every night with windows open and hear the waves and birds. The kitchen is small and we didn't make much there in the way of meals, we had planned on lots of picnics for hikes and eating out during our stay, but the full fridge provided us with a lot of space for items we purchased at the store or leftovers. If you wanted to meal prep more and not go out this might be a harder spot for that but it is well stocked with dishes/mugs/cups and all the items needed to do the best you can with making a meal there. We were super impressed with the comfort level of the bed, the comforter and sheets were so comfy! The bathroom is big with a full washer and dryer in the closet (and complimentary laundry soap which was so nice). The shower temp was hot instantly which was amazing (we are used to having to run water for a bit before it warms up), and the walk in shower was so nice and roomy with a little bench and ledge for personal items to leave while you are there. The owners were on the property our last day and were so friendly and nice to talk with for a bit, and the entire space, neighborhood etc was just lovely. We saw deer and other creatures from our patio. The only catch for being close to the water would be if you aren't up for a bit of a walk (through the neighborhood, down a couple streets and maybe .2 miles over dunes to get to the beach), this might be discouraging. We are big hikers/walkers so we did well but it wasn't a small trek. There are cars on the beach as well, so we ended up spending more time during the day and evenings at other beaches in general. It was perfect for us to come home after a fire on a different beach and just admire the waves from afar and hear the sound of the ocean. Thank you for this lovely space, we even tried to book it for another trip we have in October but it is booked already! Highly recommended. :)
