Located on a remote dirt road, you'll feel miles away from the world, yet you're just a short drive to everything the area has to offer – hiking, biking, swimming, skiing, and more! Ski and snowboard at Mount Snow or Straton. Enjoy a picnic or go boating at a nearby lake. Experience Vermont's breathtaking autumn folliage from the comfort of your cabin or a country drive. Whether you are planning a romantic getaway or a family vacation, this cabin offers the ultimate rustic retreat. Make sure to purchase local Vermont maple syrup and artisanal cheeses while touring the charming nearby towns. Then cozy up at the cabin and enjoy the tranquility of a truly off-the-grid escape. Please Note: NO TV and NO internet access. Cell service at the cabin is limited, but a landline is available for local calls.

We had a great time staying at Doug's cabin during our recent VT trip. The cabin is spacious and very well equipped. Doug was always available to answer any questions or share recommendations, which we really appreciatedWe used the cabin as our base during a ski trip - Mount Snow is only 20 minutes away.

The cabin was clean, comfortable & cozy. Very nice kitchen, bath and Deck! The bed was very comfortable, the bedroom also had plenty of closet space for our use. We got to enjoy music CD’s as well as a few games. The area was ideal for easy access to restaurants and evening walks. The cabin backs up to a beautiful quiet wooded area. Host is very friendly and accommodating for our needs.

Very welcoming host and excellent communication throughout the stay. It is a nice cozy cabin, only 20 minutes from Mount Snow. We ran into one issue, but the owner took care of it
